  1. It might be a good value to you, but not to me, because it is me who needs to pay for that! And I, as well as every taxpayer in USA is already in debt of $134 000, in addition, my two sons are in debt, each $48 371. And my country GDP to debt ration is almost at 100%! And that is close to $15 000 000 000 000 dollars. And on and on and on .... Check the US National Debt Clock in real time: http://www.usdebtclock.org/ You know, if we do not stop spending on weapons we don't need, we will definitely end up as Soviet Union. I sure want my country to have F-35's, but about a hundred would do the job. Because we can not afford more then that.
  2. What bothers me is that pilots were not trained in flying under altrnate law and without IAS. Lack of training is not their direct fault.
  3. For a while, I've been telling youall that GPS signals are relatively easy to jam!
  4. And letting it fly without control until it runs out of gas, after which it may crush in populated area .... Military drone flying over a country, without that country authorization, is already act of war. If something would be hit due to self distraction, it would be just a collateral damage in that military operation.
  5. I travel a lot and often fly. It scares me to death to even think that pilots flying this miracles of technologies are often not trained, thus not qualified to fly them. These two co-pilots were not trained to recover from stall!! Incredible, scary, unbelievable!
  6. I did not talk about Afghanistan. Afghanistan is not my country. I can't tell who is telling the truth either, as I mentioned in my previous post. SAM = Stealth STOP!
  7. I've just realized, we got Chuck Norris here! We are SAFE! :smilewink:
  8. Isn't this an act of war? A military aircraft flying secretly over a country and without permission from that country. Hmm ... I wonder how would we interpret Iranian military UAV's flying over Texas.
  9. I sure do not trust Iranian military a word they say. I also do not believe in our military explanation either. Stealth is nothing new and advanced nations had plenty of time to come up with solution to detect it.
  10. I watched A-10's few times in Dallas and Shreveport and was very impressed with performance. Too bad it is grounded for 2012.
  11. I am sure satellite communication does something, but my question is where do the flight control signals to the actual aircraft coming from? When it comes to Afghanistan, it does not really matter because Taliban does not have knowledge nor equipment to do anything against advanced communication technologies. But Iran is completely different story. Also, I don't think that it is that difficult to radar-detect this kind of UAV. Unless there is some serious jamming going on at the same time.
  12. That's what I am talking about.
  13. Well, GPS satellite is some 15 000 miles above the Earth and its transmission power is just few kilowatts. I doubt that it takes much of power to jam that kind of a signal. Although I would assume that these aircraft mainly rely on Inertial navigation. I don't know where the Flight Control signals come from? For this kind of drones, I doubt that it is coming through satellites.
  14. He, he, he ... Thanks PeterP. I indeed appreciate this info.
  15. I don't know anybody who makes more then $100 000 dollars a year and fights its way on Black Friday to get a $2 towel at Walmart! BTW only few percent of Americans make more then $100 000 a year.
  16. Well, not everybody in USA can afford stuff. Over 40 million people are on food stamps, and as many are without health insurance ... These maybe two of many reasons why people behave so desperately.
  17. Buy a second license for a Christmas gift. I already bought two BS 2 licenses ...
  18. Thanks for the info.
  19. And what happened after you woke up? BTW, theory is one thing and practical application is another. In a recent conflict, more then 1000 HARM's were launched killing a lot's of microwave ovens but very few radars. One HARM actually missed the entire country ... While HARM's and SDB's are different weapons, similar defensive tactics can be used ... Thus, in actual conflict, nothing is as simple as weapons sales guys are trying to present. Reminder: SAM = Stealth STOP!
  20. I did not read the whole thread, so this might be a repeated question. When it comes to a future projects, I don't see a Dedicated Server on the map? Currently, we are paying a lot's of money trying to keep =4c= dedicated server up and running. I am not sure how much longer we will be able to do it.
  21. Interesting. I guess this joystick is not released for sale yet. I could not find any reviews.
  22. WOW! 1420 Euro's ... any videos showing how this joystick actually performs? BTW, no, I can not afford 1420 Euros Joystick ...
  23. I wish somebody posts a video of how well 940 is actually working with BS.
  24. WOW! Su-33 ... Very seldom you see a Su-33 with missiles attached. I wish this picture was taken at daylight with a close up to that missile.
  25. First, you get much larger base of testers. You get thousands of testers instead of only few dozen official testers. Second, you get much more diverse platform testing. And third and most important, you are assured that at least one more version (final) is coming relatively soon, to address some of the problems. Right now, we may never get a patch after this final release.
