Anybody has any pictures or info on a new AA long range missile PAK FA will carry? With so much room between engines, PAK FA will be able to carry relatively large missiles.

These numbers are mind boggling! These numbers show what many on this forum are not aware about, and that is, it takes extraordinary amount of time and dedication to make something work. I sincerely appreciate your and your team effort in creating this mod. I know for a fact that your team has the most qualified experts about MIG 21BIS. With a little bit of assistance from Eagle Dynamics, your work deserves to be a paid add on in DCS series.

Buran took off, flew few circles around the earth low orbit and successfully landed. All remotely controlled. I happen to briefly talk (pure coincidence) to a Russian engineer who claimed that he was directly involved with Buran project. Buran was eventually abandoned for the same reason we are abandoning Space Shuttle program. It took us 30 years and a debt of 14 000 000 000 000 dollars to figure it out ... BTW, Buran did not crash. As far as Tu-160 goes, I suggest you read the "Tupolev Tu-160 Blackjack: The Russian Answer to the B-1". Tu-160 is bigger then B-1, much faster then B1, can carry close to 30% more payload, has more then double the range then B-1 ... At the end, none of this has anything to do with PAK FA and I don't see why you brought it up?

Matt, it doesn't look like you really know what you are talking about. I wonder what is your technical background? I am a Senior Technical Trainer. I train on hydraulic systems on mining machines. Again, it is obvious that you have some prejudice views of Russian engineering. Is it your age or is it something else, I don't know. However, while Russian engineering is not perfect, they designed some very successful aircraft and aviation systems. PAK FA is an aircraft that is designed to solve the same problem as what F-22 was designed for. Thus, they have to look very similar, and for a casual observer, they do. However, when you take a deeper look, there are some significant differences between the two approaches. Your "glugg glugg vodka ..." observation is just silly and do not belong to this forum where there are aviation engineers, combat aircraft pilots, commercial pilots, high level technicians that understand how things work on airplanes.

This is the most completed mod ever created. There is instructions, there is a manual, there are training lessons ... Incredible! Beczl, can you tell us, what is your estimate, how many man hours in total was spent to create this mod?

Hmmm, looking at the pictures ... Can you point the TVC hydraulic actuators on any of these pictures? Where do you see them? BTW, how's the TVC controlled on F-22? What is going to happen to F-22, F-35, Boeing 787, Il96-300, A-380, E-195 ... when they loose hydraulics? Also, I was on a UNITED flight, from Moscow to New York when we got hit by lightening. We landed safely in Frankfurt. Apparently, there was some kind of a some hydraulics problem. And Sukhoi Su-30MKI is the first (and only?) operational aircraft with 2D TVC system. Thus, Sukhoi has a lots of experience with "hydraulic systems" and TVC.

Riots do not occur just because of one unresolved police killing. I am convinced that the causes for these riots in UK are much deeper, political and social in nature. People, in masses, don't just go out to burn buildings for fun. BBC is reporting that rioting is spreading and three people were killed while protecting property.

There are some serious problems in UK. This is not the first riot and protest that we have seen in UK recently. UK should take care of its own people, particularly students, before telling other countries what to do.

First, you need to unzip the file you downloaded. Then you will get a Flight Manual in Word and zip file "Mig21bis_FC2_2_0". So, it is the "Mig21bis_FC2_2_0" zip file that needs to be installed with ModMan for the mod to work. Here some screenshots ...

Absolutely right. Bezl's team includes former and current MiG-21 pilots, some of them very knowledgeable with LUA scripting in FC. This is going to be the best ever MiG-21 model we have ever had. I hope, ED will include it in DCS series in the future.

GPU is not the only reason for needing to rent a (relatively speaking) powerful machine to host a dedicated server. Also, it is FC and BS that are mostly used on dedicated servers due to larger base of players. Thanks for the update anyway.

Thanks for the update. How about a dedicated server application? Currently, we are spending some serious money and time trying to maintain dedicated server on line. And yet, we are having difficult time to do even basic dedicated server tasks.
