  1. I've got the system running this way for less then two years. I wrote about the whole setup and FC testing, but it is in Serbian language: http://virtualcore.in.rs/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=116&Itemid=20
  2. I am willing to invest in a good, new FFB joystick or HOTAS system. Does anybody know if Siatek or Logitech or anybody else is planing to release something that will work well with Black Shark? Saitek does not even have a FFB on its line up of Joysticks. According to several discussions on this forum, Logitech G-940 is not doing well with BS either.
  3. I run my I7-920 @ 4GHz from the day one.
  4. Well, we already have (or had) F-16 replica, A-10 replica .... We have never had Russian aircraft replica throttles/sticks. I look forward to a day when somebody will make Su-27 or Black Shark stick.
  5. I understand your frustration. I have two X52-pro sets. One set is obviously spare. And when out of warranty, I do fix them by myself.
  6. Lots of lake Mead is in Arizona. Half of Hoover Dam is on Arizona side as well. BTW, check this post.
  7. How about the Grand Canyon? I took a helicopter tour of Grand Canyon this summer. It was spectacular! I would love to take Black Shark down through the Grand Canyon!
  8. I wonder how far did they go in modeling Nevada? Although, Grand Canyon in in Arizona, I wonder if ED modeled some of the Grand Canyon? How about a Hoover Dam and Lake Mead?
  9. You are correct. I've just read the original article and Hungary is not mentioned.
  10. This Nevada map will be Black Shark compatible right?
  11. Your upload speed is good for few players only. Also, if you are uploading something else at the same time, your server will have a lot's of lag.
  12. Happy Birthday!
  13. Don't you have warranty on it? Where did you get it from?
  14. http://www.gametrix.ru/products/8 Is this some kind of a Russian throttle? From what I understand Russian, it looks like it uses some kind of HAL sensor?
  15. Good looking product indeed. How much is shipping to USA?
  16. Back to talking about Cobra. FF is very important to me because it would simulate proper trimming in KA-50 and other FC airplanes, as well as proper shaking of the stick at critical AOA's. Not to mention a feeling of heavier stick as the speed increases. It looks like to me that Cobra is on the right track to be a good joystick. Hopefully, later versions will include FF.
  17. The "Hog" has a lots of good looking buttons, but, it does not simulate few of the most basic behaviors of the real stick. The Hog lacks FF, thus, I did not buy it. I don't know how the real stick work in F-16, therefore I can not comment on X-65. But, let me remind you, that so far, none of the simulators we play in FC and DCS uses pressure sensitive stick. Thus, the X-65 is a product that is somewhat lost in time. Sooner or later (I have a feeling it will be soon) somebody will make a good FF stick. Then I'll buy it. Until then, X52-pro rules ... Back to Cobra stick. Well, I wish that it has FF.
  18. Any new, serious stick should have Force Feedback technology. Will Cobra have it?
  19. Check Russian part of the forum. I was very surprise to see how much are several ED Team Members involved in different topics and discussions. Many topics are started by FrogFoot and Chizh. All you need to do is learn Russian ...
  20. !? What is this about?
  21. Take a look at the patch underneath the flag on officers' right hand. It is very famous Air Defense Unit (PVO) brigade that took the 117 down.
  22. I am sure we have more experience and probably some advantage over other stealth designs. The reason being is a simple fact that we, by far, invested the most money into it. Reminder: SAM = Stealth STOP!
  23. O yeah? So you publish your work in scientific magazines and write books on radars and stealth design? What is your name and what is your published work on radar and stealth design? I've never claimed that I am qualified in any way to discuss stealth and radar design.
  24. Level of "expertise" on stealth design is simply amazing on this forum. Let me remind you that the "stealth" shape research and scientific work originated in Russia. They know very well how to properly implement stealth in a balanced way.
