I'm not expecting this, but it sure would add a lot of immersion As for carrier ops, I'm looking forward to flying from carriers of course. But that is secondary to getting a nice aircraft for me so i don't mind if that comes later. Makes sense to learn the plane before trying to land it on a carrier anyway.

Yeah, it's only the Russian jets that have this problem weirdly? When DCS2 arrives, I'm going to perform a full clean install and start everything fresh.

I just got this also given the sale price, I don't fly the SU-27 much (mainly due to an annoying FOV bug I can't shake that doesn't allow me to zoom in or out) But I'm going to try and get into it for this. I completely agree though, I love the idea of these mission packs and I hope to see many more, an F-15c pack for starters please :thumbup:

Just got the Mig 15 and the Su-27 campaign... Just need to figure out the FOV bug the Russian jets seem to have my end now so I can learn the Flanker properly. (can't change my view so I feel like I'm pushed up against the canopy at all times)

Maybe Wags will treat us to a new video if nothing else, I enjoyed them a lot but we haven't had any in a while now. Get your requests in ;) I'd like to see an A-10c down low, popping up and picking off tanks please Matt. :thumbup:

I like windows 7, but I'm having a few niggling problems lately such as programs not showing up in control panel to uninstall them. That and my main SSD which contins windows and DCS is pretty much full. I'm thinking I might wait for this, get a new 1TB SSD as my main drive and start fresh.

Well we're getting a Tornado GR.1 from VEAO, it may not be a huge stretch to imagine they might do an F3 one day. They may be our best bet for one of those.

An F-5 would be a great addition to DCS. But then, so would a Viggen!

That's just the thing, I would like the Sea Fury infinitely more than a P-38. Everybody is different in that sense and there really is no pleasing everybody. I would love a perfect balance of aircraft of course. But I would much rather developers didn't worry too much about that and instead just make the aircraft they are passionate about and have access too. This results in us getting a better product ultimately, and eventually things will likely come together anyway, we just need a bit of patience when it comes to DCS... It is worth it I think.

Ahh I see, sorry, I thought we were on about the P-51d. I haven't flown the free trainer version so I have no idea, although I would suspect engine management would be the same.

I'm surprised you're struggling to seize the engine in the P-51d. Unless it has been patched in the last couple of months, it is extremely easy to do. I find it hard to avoid at times during combat.

Did I miss something? Who is whining? We're on a public forum having a discussion guys. The Vive is an exciting prospect, it has the potential to be a rift beater, of course people are going to wonder whether DCS will support it.

Tomorrow... The Mig 15 shall be mine! I'll even buy the SU-27 campaign even though I never fly it, will be an excuse to learn...

They aren't..

You would suspect ED will want to make sure DCS2 is compatible with all of the big players in VR, but you may see them concentrate on just the rift at first. I very much doubt the Vive will be ignored, it seems like it is going to be very strong competition against the rift and will no doubt steal some of its potential customer base, many of which will no doubt be DCS players.
