I do have the same issue but traced it back to the latest update of DCS-DTC... if I launch that after DCS I do not have the issue CORRECTION... Not DTC. Might be Simshaker for Aviator though

Seems the GBU 28 doesn't track the laser at all?? Am I missing something? Have the GBU with Auto/ 1/STA / N/T Tpod is in auto lase and lasing throughout on 1688... but bomb not tracking

I am in mode 0 and I get no mask moving around. The all screen is in NVG mode and focussed. Running MT beta version.

true if you have foveated rendering (aero). not sure how it show with other headsets. Still, mode 0 / full screen makes it totally useable if not realistic

ok found that Tacca's nvg mod works great. I installed v1.2 but there is also a v1.4

yeah sorry. i got triggered a bit . My point is that this is not satisfactory because most users will effectively not be able to experience the realistic behaviour unless they have the exact type of switch on their joystick. Bindings are here to allow users to recreate the realistic behaviour on different hardwares. The way this one is implemented is not optimal and not even intuitive given how it is labelled in the settings -

Yeah so what is your point? ... you are suggesting that applying religiously a realistic setting to an unrealistic throttle hardware is the right thing to do? ... because this is a sim and people use joysticks that are multipurpose and not the exact replica of the hardware. What the sim wants to do is replicate the behaviour. Not pretend that it would be the correct behaviour if you had the proper hardware. Brillant idea!! I'll do that. Did not think about it. thanks -
If having to use push buttons for gun/SRM/MRM select the bindings make it mandatory to push the SRM if one wants to switch from MRM to Gun or Gun to MRM. Guess that is not realistic. would rather have a button that switches me to MRM or Gun directly regarless of what weapon is selected.

Just saying it is confusing / not intuitive because there is a binding available for 'occupy front seat' under the F-15 setup...maybe there should only be an 'occupy rear seat' there

Using foveated rendering with Varjo Aero in MT. Noticed issues in lighting. Highly visible in night time on a lit airport. Some areas will be lit when looking slightly away from it and then dark when looking at them or looking away from them. Moving eyes around make these shifts in lighting very apparent.

Since the last 2 updates putting NVGs on shows a black pixelated square mask around the NVG circle. quite horrible. Using Varjo Areo and OpenXR in MT. Can't screenshot and not visible on headset view window on screen...only under the hood

Anyone has a working NVG mod for VR that works and allows to still see the instruments? The file I was using got broken by the latest 2.8.4 beta update

Varjo user here... given the issue with misaligned cursor + no reprojection I reverted to using my varjo through opnVR as I did before the update... i.e use the openvr_api.dll hack with the -force-steamvr command. Works fine.

Well I have the same crap in VR on these flat low level clouds (with ultra setting mind you)
