  1. Great news comrade Novak, I wish you and your team all the very best. Hoping you guys build some Russian aircraft as we are sorely missing them.
  2. Interesting pictures JunMcKill, thanks for posting up!
  3. What started as an R-27ER thread has now evolved into a discussion about the AIM-7M!!! Anyways, I really wish ED does something about the general SARH situation and especially the R-27ER, R-27R, and AIM-7M. Also, the ARH missiles should perform a lot better than they currently do. It's been almost 5 years since the release of the AFM A2A missiles and nothing much has really changed since that time and might I say its been a frustrating 5 years experience to the extent that its much more enjoyable to fly the ground pounders than A2A. I just feel this integration or merge is taking way too long, which incidently has also taken around 5 years and still ongoing. The answer I'm most likely to get is there is an engineer working on the missiles and they are two different teams [insert additional lame excuse here]. All I'm saying its about time something's done about this instead of us customers continually complaining and arguing about missiles.
  4. Well, I wouldn't put it past these ruskies putting beryoza on the HUD or HDD. Maybe the charts you have are of an earlier test model or something.
  5. Please book a reserve slot for me as I'm not sure I can make this event. 159th_Kunz 159th Guards Aviation Regiment India МиГ-21 бис
  6. A highlights video would be great if you guys could post one up.
  7. Can someone from the 104th post the Twitch repay with commentary link, if possible?
  8. Thanks for the event 104th. Nice fun!!!
  9. ^^^Interesting again. I think we're opening a can of beans here. Do you have any pictures of the HUD with the Beryoza. Is it a separate mode you need to enter into to get the RWR display or is it integrated into BVR mode? The latter makes the most sense IMO.
  10. Wow, possibly the first picture of the L-150 PASTEL system? Thanks for the pics, a really interesting post. If that's the L-150 PASTEL system, I really wonder what other radar goodies is the Su-33 hiding?
  11. Now that you mention it, no, and I just did a search and couldn't find one. The plot thickens. :book:
  12. Interesting picture because I don't see the SPO-15 Beriyosa. Maybe one of the early TK test aircraft?
  13. Please sign up Archer for a reserve slot, thanks. 159th_Archer 159th GAR United Kingdom Su-25T
  14. Great! Will hop on if I can

  16. ^^^LOL, but true though.
  17. Hmm, take your pick from here. All are willing to train provided you adhere to their rules. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=34062
  18. From the manufacturer of the R-27ER, I found this interesting note The missiles pursue their targets in accordance with an update proportional navigation method both in the inertial/radio-corrected flight trajectory phase and in the semi-active homing phase after locking on target en route. http://eng.ktrv.ru/production_eng/323/503/527/ As far as I can tell and this is only IMO, ED have not modeled the inertial/radio corrected phase of the flight of the R-27ER, I believe they have only modeled the semi-active homing phase. There was also a thread a long time back where the discussion was around whether the target would be alerted by a launch warning in the inertial/radio-corrected guidance phase and in that there's an interesting point made by Soviet: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1605987&postcount=28 Anyway, ED have stated that their engineer is working on improving A2G missile dynamics at the moment. Once that's done, their engineer will work on A2A missiles. There has been no update since. So one can only hope they implement the necessary changes to all A2A missiles.
  19. I have the 4790k and I can confirm that all cores clock to 4.4GHz, at least that's what OpenHardwareMonitor tells me. :)
  20. What I've found after years of using anti-viruses is that it causes more problems than it solves. As others have said, use what comes with Windows and stay away from shady sites and just use some common sense.
  21. How did you fire the missile in the MiG-29? I'm assuming in missile boresight mode? Number 6 on the keyboard?
  22. A recent MiG-21 training flight :)
  23. The MiG-29K would be a fine choice if ED decides to do it, but I'd be happy if ED starts working on the Su-33 PFM. If they add the latest upgrades to the Su-33 like the new MFD and the SVP-24 modification, it would awesome (its a bit far fetched, but one can only hope). I'll be quite happy though with ED just modeling the peer-to-peer datalink capabilities in multiplayer for both flanker models and the Su-33's supposedly superior OLS.
  24. I wouldn't mind repurchasing all the modules at full price if ED decides to build a Linux version of DCS World.
  25. Hmm, if that's true, then my guess is that we'll probably get the beta version of the PFM in about a year from now and that's an optimistic view :music_whistling:
