  1. Stick limiter in DCS is a feature to limit your movement of stick to a certain point. In real life at this point the pilot feel rapid force increase, and can overcome this limit to full stick deflection with additional force. Position of this "limiter" depends on more parameters than simple AoA. I can't remember if it is AoA+Mach number/airspeed or more. In DCS you can switch it off while pressing Stick Limiter button in settings-controls.
  2. This is comm radio panel. In real life ADF can be used as antenna and as nav beacon. With antenna you can hear modulated voice/sound on that frequency. With beacon mode you receive bearing (heading) to the beacon. Above is IRL.
  3. German and Poland have used MiG29 in English/Imperial and that is the reason MiG29 could be considered metric/imperial. If some of you provide thr proof that F-15C MSIP was ever used in metric then this request makes sense.
  4. In real life you can deploy chute in air. I will check if it works in DCS, if not, it's a bug.
  5. Worldwide rule is to: 1. Turn on taxi light when aircraft is intended to move for taxi, turn it off during stops, while waiting without move. Turn it off also while taking parking stand in order to save marshallers eyes. 2. Turn on landing lights right after you hear the clearence for take off, it shows everyone else that you will take off. During approach, turning on landing lights usually depends on procedures of particular aircraft. For example on civil soviet aircrafts they turn on landing lights at about 120 m (I hope I still remember good value) height or right after getting landing clearence whichever first (Tu-154M, Yak-40).
  6. @HUZARN If you expect the professional approach from developers, write a professional and clear message, everyone will respect it. You have described a turn from 700kmh airspeed and 35-40 deg but it mean precisely nothing for aerodynamics nor flight manuals. Take a look at MiG29 Flight Manual book of your colleague, take a look at Practical Aerodynamics of MiG-29 book (Russian language only), analyze the diagrams and let us know what is wrong with DCS model. You could use your friend-pilot flight data from real flight and compare with DCS flight data. Real MiG29 flight data was several times compared with DCS - it happened on this sub-forum for Russian language discussion.
  7. Zooming works fine to me. Maybe check your control settings, sometimes more than one axis is assigned to zoom or button is pressed for slow zooming or (quick) zooming. I have been using cockpit zooming through all time with new MiG29 and I had no issue.
  8. Yep, that thing. Thanks for screenshot for devs.
  9. +1 I could add another issue regarding chute drop So after normal chute drop, part of the chute cartrige is hidden a few meters behind the airplane and under ground. It jumps over the ground and become visible while braking (when nose kneel during braking). Dev should make it not visible.
  10. @BIGNEWY @NineLine Eagle Dynamics thank you so much for all work with 29, I am delighted and satisfied with early access release and I want to let you know that it is a pleasure to have fun with this product. Best Regards !!! (Even we will point some early age bugs please note we appreciate the Fulcrum anyway)
  11. I do confirm. I am unable to show it up.
  12. I just meant that Mirage 2000C is flyable, but it will not be with some future updates of DCS core. I didn't look that way, but I just hope for 2000-5 in DCS.
  13. +1 Mirage 2000C is my favourite FF machine in DCS, but I would be really interested in Mirage 2000-5, which is more capable and modern than C. BTW. RAZBAM stopped F-15E and ED started F-15C, so maybe as Mirage 2000C support is finished, maybe ED will be convinced about 2000-5. Regards, Mat
  14. My favourite F16 skin work ever. Wonderful weathering effects. Respect @Ala12Rv-watermanpc !
  15. ED is working on validation of current FC3 MiG-29 characteristics with new FF version, because FC3 version has changed: pitch damping has increased at low speeds and also unnatural coupling of roll rate with yaw rate has been adjusted (no strange yaw-roll coupled manouvers possible) With no official ED news in changelog, I feel it very clear. Big hope for FF version in that matter. Best Regards, Mat
  16. Some of last updates of DCS make changes into MiG-29 physics: (1) pitch damping with FC3 MiG-29 has changed, pitch amping has been increased at low speeds, you can feel it every landing, (2) unnatural coupling of roll rate with yaw rate has been adjusted. ED has not informed us of it, but I suppose it is a flight model validation with new MiG-29 FF upcoming release. Best regards, Mat
  17. I would like to add that build in DCS Sniper image defocus and quality (also while slew) are far worse than original Sniper image quality - @YoYo post here. It need inestigation for sure. No track needed, dev should re-estimate that image quality. Even simple test, range 10 nm, TV NARO mode 3.0x, just like in the video.
  18. I think it was just an example picture. When you slew even in XR the blurry pic again make it difficult to find the new targets.
  19. No worries. Two weeks...
  20. Any official yes/no/future ?
  21. Thank you, actually it is a great information. Will the control stick move automatically when working together with the SAU (damper)? Will the upper air intakes move automatically? – This question has already been asked on the forum, but I don’t recall the answer
