  1. 1/2 a day later. Using Nellis as the backdrop, I have a rendition of Dover AFB, thanks to the Military Mods guys, so took a security patrol in my Military fast patrol car, (The masaratti - we need a USAF Police skin ..imho) , totally broke the speed limits (RAF one's anyway-that would have cost me my MT Driving permit - CP3 Safe for airfields....colour blind, if you need to know) I have some Strykers patrolling the perimeter, they look mean. My apologies to the infantry troops doing the patrolling, that is a BIG aircraft apron, and I wasn't carrying any water...SNCO should look after his troops! Tried to board a C-5 via the front ramp, had a tour of the undercarriage, but at least it's the same colour as my 1/72 C-5 in my man cave. This has been an excellent MOD, sure it falls of DCS bridges or hits what looks like an drive through bridge, but it's fun, it's a break from flying/concentration, it's ENTERTAINING! Thank you. .....can I have some blue lights? hahaha
  2. The bikes do not appear for me, must be me, anyway I managed to get on the main daul carriageway in Beirut, heading for the port, I was having a blast - no pun intended, with this mod and then saw a flyover, and just as I thought....is it solid....I exploded LOL. THAT WAS BRILLIANT! Thank you
  3. F-105, Excellent model, excellent sounds and I managed to land it first time, well pleased, thanks to all involved, F-100 or F-111, or whatever you do next, THANK YOU
  4. Chirpy, well done with the Jayhawk, yes many will be asking for the download, incl me, but, enjoy what your making, in your own time. I have no skills with the PC CAD etc, so take my hat off to you. It's like building a model aircraft, say a vacuform, you have to enjoy learning new tricks etc, and it may turn out as you wanted, you might have to accept some compromise, but it's your enjoyment. Stay Safe
  5. 3 guns is better than 2, just call it Hood-b
  6. Just put the Hood Bismarck duo into the channel map, They have been hammering each other for about 10 mins, both on fire, then Bismarck shot me down....cheek, Excellent thanks
  7. Thats excellent Thank you
  8. I see an updated F104G Skin on the site, it mentions the F104 was updated in Feb, but the filehost.de website only has update in Jan. Has anyone got an updated link?
  9. Thanks for the update, the aircraft looks GREAT
  10. Wonderful battleship model, I've got the old bismark model, must put them slightly apart and watch what happens, Thanks
  11. Absolutely amazing, Pre-Covid gave a days work at the North East Aircraft Museum, We got a tour of the Vulcan, sat in the Captains seat and it looked so familiar after the Just flight and it's FS2004 predecessor. The guide was impressed I could almost go through an engine start sequence, needed an air engineer....none around. The guys kep asking if I was a pilot, Flight Sim, just confused them....civvies....haha But this would be so awesome to fly, for the 'Black Buc'er's where are you going to put your tankers? T-pap, be very happy with whatever you produce, and don't expect a 100% rendition on these older aircraft, run of the mill is fine for me...I'm a run of the mill pilot LOL
  12. AH! I may well have done that, will check thank you, YES that was the answer, thanks
  13. 31/01/21 (uk) Cannot see the civ mod aircraft, was about to MOD Beirut intl....no civ or Hercules, looks like the latest update has busted these. Will wait patiently for fix or not, thanks to the devs
  14. Same problem in multiple maps, Hercules, crashes the system and also lost all the airliners as about to populate Beiruit airport. hey hoe
  15. The engine was running ok, but completely forgot about the hot/high, thank you, will keep an eye on it and cut down the airframe loss rate Thanks for reply
  16. Can I ask, in the Syria map, my Gazelle flies for about 2-3 minutes then the engine winds down and I'm heading for the ground. Have tried it in various version of the map and basic, has anyone else had this. Googled it, but no information. Sorry if in wrong place
  17. Remember these at RNAS Condor (Arbroath Scotland) at the annual airshow in the 50's-60's it would demonstrate the double mamba engine off, one prop normal the other feathered, probably would be banned now. Big beastie. THANK YOU
  18. Sad the latest update may have scrambled the cockpits and will hopefully wait for VSN to resolve. Did updates from the DE:\Host files site, on Thursday evening, but no change. So glad the models are still available as they are the eye candy on most of my bases. Just cannot get cockpits up that I had before, no crashes, so no rush,Thanks to VSN for getting us these MODS
  19. I put mine in C:\Users\XXXXXX\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\Aircraft, as you said and it's now the only one with a cockpit. However, following the advice above to put it in the main folder,I moved it, cut/paste to the c\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Open Beta\MODS, then Core Mods, then Demo Mods, and it was disabled on each attempt. I've put it back to the original that you mentioned and it's working, suggest you download again and insert. 20. WOOHOO! Christmas day present!! THANK YOU
  21. CarbonFox I had to go to settings at the beginning and Options/special/nosewheel steering and the suddenly my MFG Crosswinds were recognised.....no idea why Good luck
  22. Thanks Morpheus, Aye that normally works for me, I just add the axes, but I get no response, only the left brake shows up when I manipulate it. No problem, I'll figure it .
  23. Thank you for the brilliant mod, can anyone advise why I cannot get my MFG Crosswinds recognised by this module. So no rudder or steering. The pedals work on other mods. Any advice appreciated Thanks
  24. Hi, Brilliant, thank you. I was part of the 'talking freight' for 5 years back in the 70's. I always sat last seat, Left side(Facing forward) by the door. Used to stand at the door inbound to Lyneham as the descent started, break thru the cloud and see the British countryside again.....hey. green fields...normality...amazing, Knew I was pushing my luck as we passed over Swindon's 'magic roundabout' and then the aircraft would roll left, I would lose the view....and round about the the loadie would 'have a word'...haha. One guy just let me stand to the bitter end, shaking his head (Thank you Sarge). Did a low level Lye- Newcastle with full load of para's who puked their way to Newcastle, weather out of limits for the drop. A/C was very bumpy, loadie did a walkabout with a sick back in hand....made a show of BARFING into the bag...the looked in. saw something interesting and pulled out something to 'recycle' that set off the talking freight....grabbing bags and filling them....lol. Low level in Rhodesia, it was so bumpy and hot, they opened the back door to let air in and we could go walkabout on the ramp, once they put the long lead and belt on you. Too late for my Cpl, but I was glad of the fresh air. Anyway,. I cannot get my MFG Crosswinds to be recognised...if you could sort that, no rush, THANK YOU
