IMHO we night have a bit of a wait, there are a LOT of objects to reconfigure & it may not just be copy for the a to format B.

I will be buying this, those crew animations are brilliant, as an off liner, I just wonder if it will come with full crowded deck, or in various configurations.

YEP similar problems, have the NTTR missions with the 476mod, looks ok on the maps, but objects do not appear, but oddly enough I have the mod with the civ missions and some objects are ok there. Sorry if I misled with previous articles, but I thought if it's on the maps, it's ok. However it's a bit patchy, I'd say the range targets are out of commission at the moment.

Rats! I was about to add that back, I have the APU next to lots of my aircraft, as I used to see them next to almost every aircraft. Oh well, that's progress

Muehlema, try this, When it stops loading, Crtl,Alt Del, sometimes I got the, not responding, or just DCS World beta, but I just double clicked the entry, so the task did not end. Have had to do this a couple of times, then it loaded. I have NO IDEA why it worked for me, but give it a try

Got rangers working I saw report also that Nttr ranges were not working, I had message that ranger pack required on my NTTR mission, I re-installed it and it now works. I took out some other MODs and I will get clean copies and try again.

Hi VCTPIL, I've just tried mine and it came up 'rangers pack required' I'd seen elsewhere on this forum that, that too did not work. Downloaded the rangers pack again, installed. I have it working...sure is weird.

Thank you for the kind words and yes, APU removed made my system work ok. Not been able to test fully as Bella the rescued Golden Retriever has taken ill, and I'm running around like a one armed paper hanger to keep, Wife/Dog happier. Sadly the answer is throw money at the problem and the Vet, but Bella better, my wallet liighter, most people happy and your APU answer fixed my set up......RESULT! Some people have no idea of the importance of DCS! LOL!

OK Oldcootronix, I'll try that, as I have that folder, rarely used. there are other reports of ranger objects not working, so it looks as though we all have something that's not loading.

Nope that did not work, back to same init whichever map 97 ng5 stops. no error, just stops. Over to the grown ups.

I have renamed the User/mynname/saved games folder to not working folder Restarted the game, and set a basic mission. I was able to load that mission and fly, the harrier. So now slowly re-adding my MOD folder/aircraft/tech/terrains and will see if it works. Put my Graphics information back in too. Will report back, TWISKING may also be right, I'd try that first, as my method is slower due to size of folders.

Joining this queue, all the above since the update Have done a repair, a clear out and update, checked using Administrator rights. Get Terrain init (in any terrain)97 ng5 stops there and then..will flounder about until the grown ups have a look at it. Cheers

Sorry but I’m with ED/WAG’s on this, how much has it cost us all to keep up with the software that runs our computers, we may not be happy, but we upgrade to get benefits. same here, we all had to pay out, now divide by the time we have had it, IMHO, BARGAIN. I knew when we startedI may have to pay for modules, this is a niche market. Take a look at the numbers of people viewing on a launch day, it does not say, hundreds of thousands. Software developers have families, like us, they need to eat, like us, yep I’m ready to pay. I’m a military pensioner, but I enjoy the simulation of something I couldnever do in real life.Thank you, ED and all developers.

IMHO we will get an F-16, it will fly, We can play with whatever ED can make, to drop or launch. As I will never be able to get in the real thing. That suits me fine. I don’t care if it’s not the one with the iPhone socket MOD. It will take me ages to sit and read it all up (Chuck, can we have a guide soon, please?) I will get lost in the mini updates as my memory fails to update nowadays anyway. Just looking forward to flying it for enjoyment...gentlemen prepare your credit cards,

In the Wild Weasle book, admittedly using F-4’s, there were a few mentions of firing multiple missiles at targets for various reasons.

Twice today I set up the F-14, Got into position and pressed PLM button, got a lock and put the cross on the target, (TU-22M) Fired the Sparrow, good thud off it goes, Range on first was about 9 miles, but at 2.4miles out, the first one stayed at 2.4 miles....So fired another that hit the target, was in much closer but then CTD. So set up again, 10 miles, PLM, fired the AIM7, 2.4 miles....everything stopped.....about 20 sec later CTD. I have had other flights where the sparrow has worked, most failures have been RTFM and I've got the lastest updates as at 06/05/19. Otherwise, thank you for a brilliant sim.

Hi, It could be a sign that my GEFORCE 1050 2GB Card has met it's match. Got 16Gb RAM so it should handle the scenery. Used the F-18 out of Sharjah and went south, getting down to under 1000, and the shadows started flickering. Did the same from Abu Dhabi in the gazelle. So lowered the settings a bit from the High, still had the same problem But then put shadows to flat and it's done the job for me. Just curious if anyone else has had these problems Thank you David

I just found this mission series, and used the first on for my Tomcat, THANK YOU. I've been able to trap with both F-18 and the F-14, but not been well and can't concentrate on the tutorials at the moment, so borrowed your mission and finally got the blasted thing off the carrier,watching the salute etc is just fun. Thank you , ok so I was so busy watching the animations of wheels up and flaps I ended up in the drink, but I enjoyed it
