  1. In this case they have succeeded with the " in two weeks TM"
  2. Except for the two details that Bremspropeller mentions and the problems with the radio editor, I´m happy with the F1
  3. Will we have this problem solved for the next update? At the moment I can land/take off perfect with your recommendation but..
  4. Honestly, I would settle with the three variants of the F1 that they sold us... apart from the one we are enjoying now That still requires a lot of work
  5. I guess after the next update.. maybe
  6. I really want to have him next to my Viggen !!!!
  7. Interview: DCS Saab Sk60B Developer Interview w/ Virtual Team 60 (skywardfm.com)
  8. Thanks DSplayer. I means last DCS update. I have verified my DCS installation and I replaced the "Entry.lua" file in the F14 folder too. It seems that was the cause of the problem. Now my Hawks have appeared again Thank you very much for your excellent work
  9. After the last update, the Hawk has disappeared from the F14 library. Has it happened to anyone else? I have reinstalled the folder but it does not appear in the mission editor.
  10. Nop.... the bug still here . Now the mission practically freezes almost at the beginning; freeze, crash and message "Waiting for dcs" but while, we continued with audio (engine, alarms, etc...)
  11. It is true that it is quite abandoned and it´s look "old" for today's standard ... but for €25 in sales you can add a "red plane" in your hangar and have fun from time to time. Developers: a post or a check on the status of the module from time to time would be appreciated....
  12. I just tried the mission 9 again. I did not use F2 or other external view funtions. Again, when I was returning to the carrier (near the cost), freeze, crash and message "Waiting for dcs"

    Mission 2

I'm glad I helped you I´m thinking how to fix this problem now: The Tu92 radios cannot reach ranges below 220Mhz and the RSIU-4V has about 180Mhz max ¿? I have replaced the T95 with the B29 MOD (let's imagine that it is a TU-4 that could fit the dates as well) I need to check it this night... cross my fingers

    Mission 2

I may have found the error... Check the radio frequency on the TU95. it´s 130 and as you can see there is a conflict (cannot select this frequency on the plane). This is the reason why we do not listen the messages in channel 2.
  15. Thanks for your answer kontiuka. In effect, in Caucasus map works like you describing (preset "1" mission editor = "6" Dial radio channel) but in Syria or the Gulf it doesn't ... Maybe this information is in another report or maybe it's my installation?

    Mission 2

I have restored the missing trigger but like Japo32, I haven´t communications on channel 2. Sometimes I get a message but very randomly. Has anyone been able to fix this problem?
  17. Sorry but I've tried it a while ago but it doesn't seem to work.
  18. Yesterday I tried to landing in some airfields with the F1 and it was a disaster. Near the airfield, below 800 feet approx, I had always extremely low fps (5 to 20 pfs) and in some cases, DCS and steamVR crashed To be a little fair (I think that the F1 also has certain resolution problems in VR) I decided to fly other aircraft like the A4E or M2000. In both cases I got a fairly substantial fps drop, not as extreme as F1 but quite uncomfortable (around 20-25fps).
  19. I don't know, I'm just telling you what all these writers have researched. The decision to change the probes came directly from the Shah who was first interested in buying the F14A (radar) instead of the new F15A... Grumman and the Navy at that time would have put a Christmas tree if it had been necessary: They needed sell the plane and in 1974 $2bn is a lot of money. As I have mentioned before, it seems that only some units of the F14 arrived with the original refueling system. I would recommend you read these three books (they are good books, have nice photos, and histories and not very expensive) Tomcat! The Grumman F-14 story Tomcat Alley (has photos of all f14 built) Iranian F 14 Tomcat Units in Combat.
  20. About F15, sorry It´s a mistake (I was think in F5 not F15) but the rest seems like ok. I have in mind a photo where you can see that the probe is different (it is wider at the end and protruded a little and that is why the cover could not be added). I need to search with patience. I don't know if it's correct (for copyright reasons), but I add a snippet of a text that I found quickly about the last f14 Irani frames: "...meanwhile the eightieth and final IIAF tomcat was at grumman scheduled for conversion to the USAF boom and receiver type aerial refuelling system. The conversion was never compleited and this frame was pleaces in storage at AMARC. In 1986 it was delievered to NADEP brought up to Navy standards" Pg94, Tomcat Alley. Brown, David F.
  21. it would be something very cool
  22. I may be wrong but they were different, Iran's idea was to maintain long patrols and buy several K 135s for aerial refueling with the Air Force system, so they ordered that the original refueling probe be replaced on their F14s with the one already used by the Phantom and F15. Being larger, the lid could not be placed, so it was omitted in this model. Only a few cats were supplied with the original probe. You can see this in books like the Paul Gillcrist's, Tom Cooper, David Brown.... As they indicate, in these tomcats the lid was deliberately removed, not because of a mechanical failure or an operational requirement
