Which Kegetys mod do you mean specifically? I am going to further test with the mods tonight trying to fix the night issue. I will run an A-10CII-specific trackfile to use as a benchmark so I can observe the differences in performance between the various mod combinations. Will report back my findings here as well.

Best gear/headset phones to replace HP reverb audio?
Ready replied to fargo007's topic in Virtual Reality
Yes same here with the left one. Crackles like hell, will try cleaning it but think it is best if I just send it back for replacement, since still in warrantee period. Have the Arctis pro, which sounds much better, but is a pain to put on over the G2 and it starts hurting the top of my head after a while. -

Tnx I haven't seen it anymore since last repair. -
A10C-II HUD Brightness fix... IC Safe
Ready replied to Taz1004's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Ahh. okay. Thanks, did not know. With outside I mean the outside of the hog, custom livery. Was not sure if this would interfere in one way or the other. I did not see that the current files were linked under the bold titles. Just clicked on the underlined Legacy. Oops. Installed the current version. Works fine. Thanks again. -
A10C-II HUD Brightness fix... IC Safe
Ready replied to Taz1004's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I must have an old version. Mine reads A-10C-2019-CPT and inside Taz1004 Custom. Does it matter that I have another custom livery (outside of the hog) in a folder called A-10CII also in the Liveries folder? -
Hi Lefuneste, I am trying to install 3dMigoto and follow your instructions but am having some difficulty. When I follow the steps you describe under 'installation' in the original post I get a couple of warnings. I have the Ketegys mod already installed. Install Kegetys shader mod from here I am using the VR Shaders mod for 2.7.7.14727 (clear water, IC pass) and already have it installed. If you are using a version > 2.7.7.15038 only copy in DCS installation directory the files and directories from the directory "DCS VR Shaders mod patch for 2.7.7.14727" included in the 3dmigoto mod zip file. It will fix Kegetys mod for DCS version. I get a message that it overlaps with \bazar\shaders\deferred\compose.fx, which I approve. Copy in DCS installation directory the files and directories from the directory "update Kegetys VR Shaders mod for 3Dmigoto v1.1", included in the 3dmigoto mod zip file. It overwrite some files of the Kegetys mod and so will setup defaults options compatible with the 3dmigoto mod and some shader to be driven by setup menu. I get a message to overwrite _HMD.hlsl, NVD_common.hlsl and NVD_HDR.fx. Which I approve. After this I am not getting the Shift F7 menu. How could I best proceed? The VR Shader mod really helps with the frametimes. Thanks for the help,

A10C-II HUD Brightness fix... IC Safe

Hi Taz, I put the contents in my saved games folder but get no other option under Options-special in DCS. Is it still working? -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
Ready replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Tnx. Yes, but the strange thing is that the screen door happens only inside the circle. I would assume it would be everywhere if it had something to do with SVRSS settings. Will mess around with it some more tomorrow. -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
Ready replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I am at 80%SS. Will see what lowering it further brings me. Will this remove the screendoor you think? BTW I see you are running W11 with a Ryzen and G2? Did W11 give you any performance degradation? I am considering to upgrade, but so far only read bad news about W11 in VR on AMD's. Tnx, -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
Ready replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
So I updated OB today and now I notice a big screendoor effect inside a large circle in the middle of my screen. Please see attached. Can this have anything to do with the update in combination with the VR shaders? Never saw it before. -
Thank you for the details and sharing the mod. I will take a close look at things. For me performance is way more important than the visuals. I prefer maximum smoothness over a bit more clarity. (which is why I am very interested in trying your ' little bit of all 3'. I even turn down trees and ground textures because I am flying pretty low with the hog and on our multiplayer server the frames kill me if I turn things up. I am using the G2 and turned the SS down to 80%, which is good enough for me. Will also try the Simplex again. You said it also speeds up loading right? The only thing that really bothers me now is the dumb trees growing out of nowhere.. Thanks again!

I don't know if you allready did, but try to eliminate potential sources for such issues I would say. Did you close down all the background services you don't need and stop all other applications you don't need? Did you use Process Lasso to dedicate a few cores to DCS and put all other stuff to other cores? Have Lasso open on screen when you run DCS, sort it to CPU usage for example and when the issue appears quickly look at it to see what process is using high CPU at that moment, or just do a straight and level flight on autopilot and put the headset on the desk and look at the desktop mirror besides the process manager, which makes it easier to spot.

Hi has anybody figured out a way to dim the brightness on the clock and the radio preset indicator? In night ops they shine very bright when everything else is tuned down nicely.

A-10C II Instant Action mission since 2.7.7
Ready replied to Sr.'s topic in DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer
I guess you don't mean upside down I last time noticed a direction change of the WM A-10 taking off in the Caucasus cold&dark instant action mission, maybe has to do with a programmed weather change, which causes runway change? -
Thanks, you are right. Will correct.

VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
Ready replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Did you try textures M and textures terrain L? For me the sim still looks good enough in the hog while at low altitude and it gives quite a big frames gain. Also cutting down tree detail before flying low in dense areas makes a big difference, you can try that realtime. I noticed the same thing with the glass effects. Got used to it. -
Yes I think I am also going to add some more settings to also adjust the lights and turn down the brightness and contrast on the MFD's, RWR etc for night ops.

For VR the MP missions are a drain. When we play with a few squads together I always notice the faster planes finishing up and jumping out of the server to debrief because my frames improve and stuttering dissapears. Also with the latest DCS updates some important mod were impacted with huge FPS loss as a result.

There is an easy workaround. I use VoiceAttack for programming the HMCS everytime I start. I recorded a string of HMCS commands and just execute them with a voice command. See the first few seconds of this video where I say 'display'.

It works great now. Only minor issue is the shortcut to start/stop FPSVR which sometimes doesn't work while DCS is the active screen. So I just have to remove some extra lines that are created while I switch windows. Did you guys encounter this as well? Yes 80 is good enough for me as well. Do't really see a big difference when I set it to 100. The gain in frametime is well worth it.
