  1. At a minimum they should just fix some the flight characteristics, and the overexaggerated startup washing machine effect for free... Which has been called to their attention for some time and yes I understand now their busy with the Apache release.
  2. You're old if you want to play football in the NFL, but definitely not to old to learn to fly the Apache especially if you have flying helicopters under control. Go for it!!
  3. Now that would be a bad thing for sure...
  4. Nice job!
  5. For those that want to back taxi and use trailers:
  6. Fix the washing machine startup!!!!!!!
  7. Janes 1 and 2 morphed into this.... Amazing and sold!
  8. Wow, I got to check this out. It is so annoying VR that it makes me shut my eyes, since you can't look away under the hood.
  9. Same here exactly on the throttle and also removed the spring from the joystick. Extension for the joystick would be nice but works great as is.
  10. Thanks for reporting that, it's enough to make ya sick in VR. Thanks above that it tames back down.
  11. Ran one load of soldiers up to the front and on the way back to base got called to assist with some medevac at Camp Charlie. Unfortunately, I couldn't respond due to time restraints IRL, couldn't sleep last night knowing I didn't help those guys. Anyway, time of day and traffic in the area was nice! Looking forward to a couple more runs, good job!!
  12. Will give it a shot. Might want to insert the date in there after the 2.0 on the download page so people know when it was last updated. Still says 07/2020 in the header also.
  13. I'm sure you could locate some MP Servers that aren't busy for you and your friend to log into. Hosting a server is not the first route to take unless you have some computer skills, logging into one is much easier to start with.
  14. Wow, let us know how the bullets feel when she fires.. Should be sweeet!
  15. I would recommend a negative curve on the Collective, this gives you more sensitivity in the upper spectrum of the curve which is where you'll spend most of your time. Check this out as it applies to the Huey also. DCS Gazelle
  16. That looks like it would be awesome if VR since you'd be looking down the barrel when you moved it around just like IRL.
  17. Very cool, nice job on that! I went without the spring to get closer to the feel of a real cyclic which doesn't want to naturally return to center. The joystick would better way better if it had no spring and some type of adjustable friction to lightly hold it in any position that you set it in once you tightened it. Four gas shocks which stayed in your desired position in your setup would be excellent also as long as the friction wasn't to high to move the stick.
  18. Saitek X56 with spring removed and Saitek pedals. Anyone using Trim with the Huey and no spring joystick? I don't even use because the stick will just lay over if I let go of it. Still having problems getting the axis tuned but I think it's more of an issue with the flight dynamics of the Huey, it's really a bit squirrelly and needs an update or more fine tuning capabilities like that of the X-Plane Huey. No IRL flight time in a Huey only a Bell 222 to compare it to. Sorry if I went a little off topic.
  19. @Hueyman well said and thought out especially the hightlighted area above. You nailed it! If you want to fly a squirrel try a Eurocopter AS350 Ecureuil, it's called that for a reason. Great helo just needs some updating and tweaking.
