How come that you use steamvr in the first place? By default with oculus DCS launches with oculus software, and you need to force it to use steamvr. Ensure that you have set the default openxr runtime as oculus...it is a setting in the oculus client

Is asw working for you? I would like to switch to team red...but last year I had to return a 6900xt because of drivers and reprojection not working

Hi..I have similar issues. I am not a native speaker but usually people can understand me pretty well. With Vaicomm pro, I have good results (after a lot of training) with my logitech headset. But when I use it with my Quest Pro headset, 90% of the times it doesn't understand me...and yes I redid the training much more than 3 times. Probably I will end up using a desktop microphone as I don't want to wear an headset on top of the Quest Pro. I still don't understand how it is possible that the mobile AI and alexa understand us 95% of the times, and windows speech recognition cannot use these libraries (the dead Cortana understood my english pretty well).

Ho letto la recensione sul numero di questo mese di PC Pilot ed ero andato a vedere, sembra molto interessante, certo usare DCS senza cuffie comunque non lo farei... Sicuramente da tenere d'occhio. Io non ho alcun problema ad interagire con nulla in VR....al massimo posso lamentarmi delle prestazioni (che comunque sono molto migliorate).

è un clone del trackir...che praticamente funziona con lo stesso software naturalpoint che lo vede come fosse un trackir 5....sul confronto non so dirti, io ho il track-ir 5 originale e uso sopratutto VR

Do someone has ever thought of design an extension for the throttle to have longer arms? Like winwing theirself did with their F-16 throttle, but for the F18 or F15 handles?

Dovresti capire cosa ti limita....se utilizzi open-xr toolkit puoi abilitare un overlay che ti dice i frame time di CPU e GPU...quello può farti capire tanto. Il free fly del Sinai ha molte unità AI?in che parte della mappa è fatto? (per capire se incide di più su CPU, o GPU) Inoltre, non potrai mai aspettarti gli stessi risultati 2d/VR credo oramai tu sia abbastanza esperto da saperlo Stai usando ancora il mio vecchio pc?

se prendi un PC nuovo, allora sicuramente quello che hai citato è hardware di ottimo livello (tra l'altro su AM5 puoi usare solo ddr5). Se vuoi aggiornare soltanto dovresti indicare l'attuale configurazione che hai. Sarebbe utille anche il budget. Altra cosa è capire a che risoluzione vuoi giocare, e se con monitor + head tracking oppure VR.

I had the same issue... I needed 4 pass to manage to release bombs....And i tried this part of the mission multiple times before release (using the demo mission from Discord) and I remember being able to toss at first pass. Also on a side note @ChillNG i released both bombs....maybe in the briefing could be suggested to use only one...as later I had to refuse what popeye asked (I don't want to spoiler).

SteamVR is perfectly capable of using OpenXR runtime (how MT DCS needs to be run). I have not a Pico 4 at the moment (but i tried it in the past) so I cannot tell anything more

Not for some reason...it is by design.... Virtual Desktop has this capability. If you use pico4 with Virtual Desktop, you will be emulating an Oculus device...that is how it works... If you use Pico's streaming assistant you will be able to use it with DCS only with steamvr and you will see the pico4 detected as a pico4

Exactly... He is using oculus runtime... Virtual Desktop emulates an Oculus device. By default it uses steamvr, if you run any game with the launch game menu in the tray icon it will bypass steamvr emulating the oculus runtime. But DCS in MT runs only with OpenXR. Every major VR player uses OpenXR runtime...so independently from oculus, steamvr, or windows mixed reality software OpenXR runtime is always used.

All I can see is that you were running DCS emulating an Oculus device, and this is what Virtual desktop does when you use the menu "launch game" in the virtual desktop tray icon. So yes, you can use the pico 4 without steamvr...you can easily do that with virtual desktop as you did.. Also, openVR is a steamvr only runtime (which will be soon abandoned by Valve itself). So without running steamvr it is not possible to use openVR (this is in general, not DCS specific). And yes...I tested this, and I tested many more things (which I cannot discuss here of course). No need to heat up....I just corrected a wrong info that you wrote. So in the end, I can 100% assure you, that DCS in MT cannot be run with openVR.

Wrong... MT doesn't support openVR. You can run DCs Mt via steamvr, but OpenXR runtime will be used.
