Io ho preso diversi moduli che praticamente non ho mai usato più o meno per la stessa ragione. Ma non tutti, comunque con un criterio. La mia ottica sarebbe quella di indirizzare verso le cose che vorrei vedere di più...ed evitare quelle che mai mi interesseranno. Tipo mai comprato elicotteri...non mi piacciono, non sono capace e non ho tutto questo interesse ad imparare. Il cristen eagle mai... fecero tutta quella manfrina con quel loro annuncio, generando un hype che si credeva sarebbe stato un bel caccia russo (tipo mig-25) e se ne uscirono con quella cosa inutile. Quando tireranno fuori il Corsair allora sarò felice di rifinanziarlo.

Using nvg there is a rectangle, with a circle inside it. It doesn't show with a screenshot only in the headset. This rectangle follows the eyes so I guess it's the eye tracking part. I don't know if there is something that can be done to hide it

My port is USB 3.2 gen 2. Cable is 10gb/s I am at 1.9/2gb/s If i recall correctly, link uses only up to 500mb/s

I Just tried this new magic with my new quest pro. Performance seems good, but I see that ASW Is hot engaging correctly... before locking to 36fps i see it dipping from 72 to 66/63/67 then back to 72 then 36 then after a few seconds back to 72.. Do you think it would be better to lock ASW Always on? Is hags still to put off in windows 11 for reprojection to work properly? PS I am a new qpro user but old oculus one Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

I Just got the quest pro but didn't try it too much (didn't install the new mbucchia's magic yet) and with a 3090 I surely can't keep 72fps. Probably the 6900xt is better in rasterization then the 3090 Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

is ASW working with AMD cards now? I tried a 6900xt last year and reprojection was not working with AMD cards back then.

If you use VR, the 24gb vram of the 3090 will give you good benefits. Other then that 4070 ti would be a better choice..You will have access to DLSS3 (in the other sim for now) and slightly better performances in general.

There is nothing dirty about this. As my colleague quigon wrote above, no-one forced you to pre-order without any date indication. Also you guys keep hypothesizing (with wrong guessing or informations) too much without knowing things. I won't comment further for obvious reasons Also I don't recall either ED nor Razbam (officially) announcing any release date.. did you try it and so you know it is ready? I get that you want to play with the new toy... everyone here wants...but I don't think that the waiting will be forever

Thanks for your test... My problem with VR (which I am not using at the moment) is this one...I cannot stand below the ASW (or any motion reprojection tech) threeshold. I thought that upgrading to a 3090 would solve this in some way...but I did not get too much benefits upgrading from my older 2080ti

could you try f-14 instant action in Syria Map? Should be free flight lebanon (something similar). It is a night take off in Beirut...After take off try some roll. With Pico4 and Quest 2 I had heavy stutters and ghosting doing this....probably it was caused by compression/decompression...I would like to understand if it was a problem of my system, or something to cope with. To test GPU performance, f18 Persian gulf instant action, or the Marianas Map. To test CPU performance, there are a couple of missions with intensive scripting and full of AI

In my opinion you should check with a heavier mission (better if arbitrarily heavy) in order to verify your settings in the worst possible scenario. Let me know, as I have a 3090 and I would like to try the quest pro

Unlikely, it will matter for standalone games. Maybe it will be some benefit in the decoding process on the headset. But nothing that will help DCS (or any PC game) performance

Just choose 1 monitor setup. Iirc the monitor where you want DCS window to show should be set as left one in windows
