  1. I have the same issue before. I am told may be the NWS may be already broken due to activated at high speed.
  2. Humm, or I can tie this silly little "ring mouse" to the HOTAS, I may not need the LEAP or anything else.
  3. Humm, if I uncheck "Use Mouse" in the VR tab, will the mouse buttons work?
  4. One-more-thingy: it has more conventional A2A capability so if you want it to pretend to be a JA-37, which we may never get, you will love M2K-C just that the gun piper is kinda "unique".
  5. Oh, forget it then. Most of the time, you are right, but in VR, if the mouse cursor is moved, I may wish to re-center the mouse curse so that the cursor will then be where I am looking at.
  6. Thanks. now, you remind me a little utility that map a joystick button to centre the mouse pointer... Update: yup, JoyToKey https://joytokey.net/en/download New question: can I achieve the same with AHS?
  7. I don't seem to find a key binding to do that, help would be appreciated.
  8. Let me add one more point. If you are in DCS World and some how the SteamVR cannot find the headset, say due to Pico4 being taken off for a moment, then the audio may be lost. To fix this, go to settings, or other if in-flight, go to the audio tab, change from default to Virtual Desktop audo or vice versa to restore the audio. I am not sure if this is a VD or SteamVR thing cause it happens on Quest2 too.
  9. I use VD with Pico4 also. The "Hand Tracking Cockpit Tracking" does show the "hands" when activated. But first, one has to use Pico4 controllers but I am not sure how to bind the buttons, there is not real interactions. Also, one must run DCS in OpenComposite. Off-topic: if one starts DCS World in Oculus runtime, there should be using the Pico4 controllers as "hands" without any issue.
  10. In case anyone who cannot find this gem, here it is: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3328443/
  11. I "dig out" my Quest2 earlier this evening and have a go with Fred's "Hand Tracking Cockpit Tracking". It works wonderfully, even though Quest2 is subpar before Pico4 in the image department, and the "hand" thing is a little too close for comfort. I would very much recommend the user interface because it works wonder, very steady and accurate, when compared to LEAP and using an actual Quest controller. ED, this is what your LEAP support should have been. I have not tried to see if "Finger", a LEAP mod I think, work with the any non-BT ring mouse. Please correct me if I am wrong. Will report back. I am not sure now but 2 years ago, getting an Oculus developer account is nothing.
  12. I am using Ultraleap driver 5.7.2. The latest OB 2.8. The game just freezes when the game finishes loading a mission. I have enclosed the log file for reference. dcs.log
  13. Does this work with all modules and mods? Quick! Post this onto the User Files area!
  14. Thanks, but just then game crashes quite constantly when LEAP tracking is on, need to fix it first.
  15. Great, but it only works with Quest2. I am going to try LEAP with a ring mouse like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204207753580?hash=item2f8bbb096c:g:nSIAAOSwKGRh1rw8&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4ASxwnPYcejZlNCS1RdnDxOYKsZlS2O2lgOpdVNiUpD1ByYwJjVkolmpu1iGxHJ3O6XdMXmBhXd%2B0JgWf%2F8nmCa4%2F6hRV8M3NGjn0ZOAH3MFvSAM9l8KxoSyXxDvXoWEw9zBUF9L3%2BuwniMgS2iD8t%2FbCgJbchMZvRWW9Of%2FNbX7ZCfXCLot2MqfRELXliO9SgqG%2FvRkLchIV%2FjIcj0UknACUTxCVLUQXpOsHsyEfaMV3oxH4jG2oZUzXaqL5KEjQfFAzw3GYzo5jrSii2nIh%2FxoaYPJQtIhycAzCCtaT2Az|tkp%3ABFBM4t_Pmbhh
  16. Nice but this method is very hard to do on the controllers for Pico 4....wait, I find some...
  17. The USB tethering method worked with the risk of BSoD. Definitely USB would be the best for connection speed, but then, we either take the SA or VD, which the latter still gives the best overall. That's all I can say.
  18. So, I either turned down the frequency down to 72Hz, or I have to lower the setting. Frankly, I find OpenComposite on Pico4 works a bit better than using Oculus runtime. I guess I still have a lot to figure out. Thanks.
  19. I am told USB connection on VD is not possible, because the author does not have access to the low-level USB API.
