  1. 3440x1440 No VR Vsync currently on, though I've tried both No FPS cap 144Hz
  2. I tried instant action F14 cold start, GPU usage 85% 72FPS so a bit better.
  3. Yeah I did that recently but didn't help much. Only thing I can say it helped was I no longer get momentary dips into 25-30FPS while on the carrier in a busy multiplayer server.
  4. Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out what my issue is with low GPU usage and FPS. Online and in singleplayer my GPU usage (on the ground) stays at about 67-73% while I'm getting between 47-53 FPS. At altitude it will go to about 85% usage with 60-70FPS. CPU usage seems to jump all over the place but not consistently at 100% usage. CPU 5 and 6 tend to get the highest load, speed oscillates between 4.6-4.9GHz. Anyone have any ideas? My brother has almost the identical build to mine only difference being a Z590 board and a 3080 10GB and he gets higher GPU usage and consistent 60-65FPS (see build in sig line). I've attached some screen caps.
  5. Came here to post this, I just dealt with this first hand. Had two separate kits of 2x16GB 3200 bought at different times. While I had my 10600k it worked fine. When I upgraded to 11700k it would no longer post with XMP profile. Had to run at default speed or run two modules(32GB) with XMP. Ended up selling the two old kits for a 32GB x2 kit 3600.
  6. This is what I've observed online, it seems to loft too much for it's own good so during the terminal phase it's coming down like a lawn dart.
  7. Beautiful beautiful overkill, congrats on the 3090
  8. Well done, single engine traps are always challenging but fun.
  9. 1070Ti is a good 1080p card, you should be able to get medium to high settings with that card and hold around 50FPS in multiplayer. That being said I had 32GB of RAM when I was running my 1070Ti. The RAM upgrade should help with multiplayer a lot.
  10. That's a pretty stout build but for VR the general consensus is to go nVidia.
  11. I'll need to download MSI afterburner, im currently using Precision X1. I'm will to check it out though, for consistency sake we should use same module, same map, same airfield. How about the Hornet, Caucasus at Sochi?
  12. Can't answer your first two questions but as far as VRAM, DCS will schedule everything you got.
  13. Awesome, would love to see your design plans.
  14. Thanks for this post, never knew anyone made such I high quality set of pedals. I imagine this will be the same feeling I had when upgrading from my T1600M to VKB Gunfighter III. I'll definitely be upgrading to these pedals, I hate the feel of my current TM TFRP's, and they are so loud!
  15. With enough practice you will get good with anything. I got pretty good at tanking the F15 using my old Logitech 3D pro. That being said I used slight curves when I used the Logitech and when I had my TM T16000M because the center point took an annoying amount of effort to get past. Since upgrading to VKB I've removed all curves and tanking/formation flight has never been easier or more precise for me. But like others said, don't think axis curves or upgrading HOTAS will be a magic bullet. Practice, practice, practice! Good luck.
  16. I used to think this as well but it will only fill your fuselage tank. External tanks and internal wing tanks won't fill unless switch is all the way up
  17. Sounds like you're pretty well experienced with AIO's so I'm assuming mounting orientation isn't the issue. Sounds like the fluid isn't circulating yet HW monitor shows 4k rpm. Do you know if the pump design is utilizing a magnetically driven impeller? Perhaps the impeller has gotten gunked up and isn't spinning with the motor causing the "false" RPM indication. Can you check the exhaust side of the radiator for heat transfer to confirm? Or maybe block the airflow through the radiator to check if results change or remain the same?
  18. Man it will be a whole new experience when you finish building your new rig. Not sure how you're not getting sick at that FPS!
  19. 32" is far too big for a 1080 monitor (not tv) the pixels at monitor viewing distance will be very noticeable. Go 1440 if you go larger than 27"
