Awesome. Looks nice. Any estimates about the price? Could we see some pictures of the electronics? Thanks.

Yep. No Love for motion. Don't see the point. Seems like something for an 15 min event, but nothing I would like to spend a 4h strike mission in. Happy with the JetSeat and if Berginson ever releases G-Simulation Strap for in a DIY version, this would be the peak of interest.

Hello. Nice pit you have there ;) When you settled in, you could show off your Simpit in the Simpit Section. To your problem: The monitor configuration (which includes the export for the MFCD) is a bit something to get used to. I would suggest to start with this Guide. Since this affects the whole DCS simulator, your question would aim at a larger audience in the Input and Output section as linked above. As soon as you moved your MFCD to your hardware MFCD your front view should be clear. But I'm not familiar with the HUD only view. Could you look at your setting and check which monitorconfiguration is selected in the dropdown? Did you do any modification in that one? If yes, please share it here so we could take a look.

Since the Hornet is pretty fragile, could the "hitpoints" be increased as a stopgap solution until the new damage model is rolled out to the modern fighters? Just to increase the survivability a tiny bit... :smartass:

Awesome  Every patch is a great oppertunity to run a repair and a clean. I would suggest to use Skazillas Updater GUI. :) Have fun.

Why? A physical kneeboard is always better than a virtual one. Especially writing with the digital pen is something to get used to ;).
-
VRK is great. Agreed. Been using it since months. About the missing symbols... Is this a vanilla kneeboard of the other F-16 Simulator? You might get lucky to find a 1x1 PDF copy over at their forums. Otherwise there are a lot of RWR guides online. Anyone can find the symbols online. Or simply make them yourself in your favorite drawing app ;). And until you complete it, you could use this RWR Threat Guide

Are you running DCS directly in Oculus or via SteamVR?
-
You could try if this mod still works. -> MOD MQ9 REAPER PREDATOR FLYABLE I would be more than happy to simply be able to assign some waypoints to a drone and then hop into the FLIR Camera to give FAC-A support to the other pilots.

Run a repair.

You can quickly do it yourself: Open Excel Type everything down from that screenshot Do some Formatting Print as PDF -> Get KneeBoardBuilder Save as Kneeboard for the F-16 Share ;) Done.

VRK - a virtual reality enabled kneeboard with touch and ink support

Just checking: You did jump in a jet, right? Because it won't show the Mission Kneeboard in the Role Selection or in Spectator Mode. -
If you only bought the quest to use for DCS, then I would return it and get a Rift S. Way less issues and you would be up and running in 5 min...

Thanks for the heads up. Was able to find it :) "C:\Program Files\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F-16C\Cockpit\Scripts\EWS\CMDS\device\CMDS_ALE47.lua"

Well, both the F-16 and F-18 have countermeasure files you can setup. So those are already covered. ;-) F/A-18c "C:\Program Files\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Scripts\TEWS\device\CMDS_ALE47.lua" Same file works for the F-16c as well. Just copy it over. Btw, the App "CombatFlite" has a GUI for this CMS Settings ;)

Leap Motion Great concept, but I think nothing really worthwhile was implemented using this.

Absolutly. All I'm saying that GUI gives you a possibility to check if all update server are accessable from your computer. DCS Update Servers Status Tab
-
Are you using SkaZilla's GUI? It won't obviously change the download speed, but it shows if all update server are connectable. If some of them are not shown green, either the ISP or the firewall inhibit the connection for whatever reason. I still would like to have a checkbox on the updatetool to keep seeding when done. Could help some guys.

And I hope those mission data option are just readable text files which can be accessed through external software (example: CombatFlite). Some other inputs. Import/Export function Load Profile Save Profile Mission & Waypoint Planner And all should be accessible from the Role Selection Screen. All Airframes should get this at a basic form (Mission & Waypoint Planner). The rest should be dependend on Cartridge Capabilities of the specific Airframe. Let's hope for some news soon :)

I'm looking forward to the Newsletter tonight. Would be nice to get some intel on how the different features will be implemented. Maybe a video from Wags? Well, I'm ready to purchase. I only really care about a streamlined spawning on the carrier. The rest is nice to have.

Did you try to cancel to switch to HTTP Download?
-
You can use the touch controllers to flick switches... But you will probably stop after 10 switches and move back to the mouse. Dont even think about that CaptoScam... I mean CaptoGlove. Sorry :music_whistling:. Yout want to use your hands to flick a switch? Look at PointCTRL. Otherwise stick to a Button Box, Mouse, Trackball, Trackpad for VR.
-
I assume you are actually using this? I always assumed this would feel wierd, since the direction of the sound would shift with your view... PointCtrl is great. SimShaker is pretty nice to (but the motors are pretty loud). A button box / MFD's are recommended also. IMHO, one of the most important features of a VR Pit: Having it ready without any preparations. Just sit in and fly: :pilotfly:

At this moment, DCS won't utilise 10 of those 12 cores of the 3900X. If it's a DCS Only build, you can downgrade to a Intel 9700K or 3600X/3700X. The rest of the cash you can invest into a 2080S / 2080 TI. Don't even bother with the AMD GPU. 32GB RAM is great. I'm using 3000MHz and I'm happy, but some users here said 3200MHz would have some benefits. I would rather go with a 2070 Super or 2080 Super than picking up a AMD GPU. Sadly with their current performance they aren't really mixing up the marked.
