Mike key doesn't work. You have to bind the regular comms menu button (learned that the hard way. I have om realistic coms. Sadly there's no standardisation across modules. Some require radio or com 1 button etc. Others require you to use the default communication button even with realistic coms. You simply have to work it out yourself on module to module basis.

It don't appear to have reaming ability. I had to use German Opel truck to keep AAA and artillery firing.

If you have ground attack. You can force dive bombing. But in CAS there is no ability to do this. And since the last few updates aircraft have started to do low slow bomb drops (both jets and props) at least your wingmen.

You do know there's a difference between manuals and real life? In many cases sims follows manuals too much. Like taking the engine limitations in the manual as a hard limit. Instead of what they are recommendations for maximum service life of the engine. Which isn't really valid when the ground crew would often just pull out an over-used and swap it. (At least in ETO, less so in PTO) Real pilots didn't think about 5 or 10 minutes WEP limits. They would go full power however long it was needed. And the aircraft would get them home. If prolonged WEP had been used the engine would get a though going through. Or even just swapped. Sim engines are way to snow flakey. But "half the fun" of ww2 flight sim is the engine management. And sim pilotpilots would find it unrealistic if the engine didn't die after 5 minutes of WEP.

Try auto lean. Apparently they never used auto rich outside of take off and landing. As lean gave better preformance even in combat.(according to Reflectedes video)

Indeed, that's my major problem with it. Any change in speed starts to throw the tale out to the side. And if you say you are divining. Because of the speed increase. The aircraft will start to crab. And no matter how must rudder trim or pedal work you do. You can't compensate fast enough. So by the end your almost flying sideways.

It might be, since there is no ability to turn off the take off assistance. However if you use take-off assistance in the other warbirds. You'll see the petals move by themselves. In thr corsair that doesn't happen.

I've done 5 carrier take offs. I use take off trim. Full flaps. I hold the brakes. Push the throttle to max, smoothy but quite quickly. I let go of th2 brakes when it starts to tip the nose. But I'm basically at full power from the moment the aircraft rolls. The aircraft does a tiny week turn to the left that only needs a tiny right pedal to fix. And then it's basically auto pilot. The corsair flies straight and off the deck. Had I done this is in the Spitfire, the aircraft would violently turn to the left. And i would have to push right pedal equally violently to compensate. Taking off in the corsair feels like taking off in the other warbirds with 100% take off assistanse.

But 300 meters is longger than the default American convergence. I hope you also adds 150, 200 and 250.

Same here. I don't know if there is a special button to break the wire to go into max power. There's very little auditory cues in the aircraft.

I think it's related to the vibrating needles on the gauges.

It feels very much like taking off in that other ww2 sim, no need to concentrate it just happens by itself. While all the ED warbirds is a battle onto itself to take off and land.

I've done several full throttle starts on the Essex. I only needed a tiny rudder correction. It's extremely gentle. If I had done the same with a Spitfire or P51. The aircraft would have veered off to the side and most likely crashing. It doesn't feel like there's 2000HP engine in there. Reminds me more of taking off in a Cessna i that civilian sim

There's also zero sound que when dropping bombs. Not even a slight cluck sound as the bombs release. I hope simahaker aviators get an update ASAP, so I can get butt feel when bombs fall.
