  1. Absolutely agree...... Be a terrible waste if you spilt your drink!! :music_whistling: Happy Birthday Maximus. Hope you had a good one!! :holiday: :drink: :drunk:
  2. For the record, I'm not interested in it. I had issues with some of the sound packs and other mods with the older LoMan, where the mods were not put together properly and wouldn't uninstall, leaving me no choice but a full reinstall of LOMAC to actually get rid of them. Once bitten, twice shy so I decided that the only mods I'd install after getting the download version of FC were ones I could put in and take out manually (so knowing that the original files were properly backed up since I'd have backed them up myself). At least this way if something goes wrong I've got no-one to blame but myself. I may be missing out on a very useful tool (and I'll happilly admit that I have no idea if the actual automated install uninstall has been improved), but I'd rather miss out on something good than waste an activation due to one badly put together ModMan package.
  3. You're only as old as you think you are mate. :smilewink:
  4. I fully agree with you. Steel Beast ProPE allows you two or three players in a single tank (commander, gunner and driver), and although the driver's position is a bit on the boring side the overall experience is absolutely brilliant. I've not been online much with SB Pro, but the times I have, those with multi player crews were by far the best and most interesting. If it was possible to get this in LOMAC's successor it would be great.
  5. Absolutely awesome photos. Mother Earth certainly has a way of making you realise how small and insignificant we are from time to time doesn't she?
  6. If you want a seriously good laugh, read through the comments posted along with those videos......... And my candidate "Things you'll regret you said one day" (You'll find this one under the "Hind UFO 2" video BTW) :megalol: I just hope this guy never applies for a helicoptor pilot's licence!!! :pilotfly:
  7. Set the first waypoint's action to TAKEOFF (in the options on the right of the editor screen). Just below that option you'll see another one appear (after setting the first waypoint to takeoff) that by default says START FROM RUNWAY. Open up the drop down list and select the FROM PARKING AREA option and save. You should be good to go. I can't help you out with what the options are in German, but I hope this helps. EDIT: Damn I need to learn to type faster!!
  8. OH NOOOOO! My tinfoil hat is in the wash!!!!! :helpsmilie:
  9. Well in the early 70's the Luftwaffe used the F-104 for some experiments in VTOL. Although I thought their ideas were more along the lines of rotatable engines on the wing tips (or one very esoteric plan to mount a combined deltawing/ rotor blade assembly on top of the fusalage.... I don't think that one got past the drawing board...Wonder why?:music_whistling: ) It *could* be that this photo was taken at some stage during those experiments, but I'm not certain as I've not seen that particular photo before.
  10. :megalol: You wouldn't know what real honour was if it jumped up and bit you on the ass, Protos. Seriously, with you around all the anti-Greek propoganda in the world is wasted. You single handedly do a good enough job of getting your nationality a bad name. I'd imagine decent Greeks are embarassed to have you associated with them. Good job there's folks like No Fear around to show the other side of the coin. Still waiting to hear when you're going to be visiting the UK BTW.
  11. I remember hearing the same thing. It was supposedly a Lancaster tail gunner who was blown out of the aircraft when it exploded. Story goes that he fell from between 20 and 30,00ft but was saved by landing in an extremely deep snow drift. No idea if it's a true story or not (although it was presented as such). Never seen any documentary proof to back it up. If it is true though, I bet he needed a change of trousers afterwards!!
  12. Having seen Paulie's post, I just realised we never got you to update our website address. The new one is: http://www.the159th.com Could you update our details please (I see you've seperate entries for our Fighter and Strike wings, both use the same address, and could be condensed to one entry if you wish) Many thanks
  13. The 159th is still as active as ever. Since we run out squad flights via a direct IP connection, you just don't see us that often. Some of our guys jump on Hyper Lobby from time to time for a bit of fun, but we run our squad activities strictly on private servers.
  14. Well said Uhoh7! I fully agree with you and couldn't have said it better myself. I've got both and enjoy both for their strongpoints.
  15. Well I'd love to get this title, but I'll definately wait till the UK version is out and then see how the finances are. At this time of year all my money seems to belong to the bank, my wife or my ex-wife.:badmood:
  16. Thanks, mate. I'd missed that completely.
  17. Anyone know what the minimum and reccommended system specs for Armed Assault?
  18. Better suggestion for you asswipe: If you're ever in the UK, let me know. We'll meet face to face and see how big your mouth is in the real world. I'll happilly repeat anything I've ever said to anyone on an internet forum to their face. Be interesting to see if you've got the balls to do that. Anytime little boy. I'll be waiting.
  19. So as others have said, Protos: If you don't like it, don't buy it. To be honest, having seen the holier than thou attitude you display (and the crap you post) on both this forum, and over on the Il-2 forums (dunno if you're still as active there since I haven't been to their forums in a while) the community would be better off without you. Just incase you don't get it, let me spell it out for you: No one gives a damn what you think. Black Shark will be what Black Shark will be. If you don't like it, move along. Posting your bile and insulting members of this community won't turn Black shark into anything different. Save your money for Fighter Ops if you think that'll be more your style.
  20. ....And if it had been left there long enough for the tyres to go flat it would have been covered in pigeon cr*p. Afterall, if you park your car under a tree in any city, go buy a packet of cigarettes, when you come back the stuff's three feet deep on your windscreen!!!
  21. You're kidding right? Firstly, the ribbon flapping in the wind proves nothing.... Except that the wind was blowing when the plane was photographed. Secondly, look how close the main landing gear is to the roadside edge of the pavement. Now add on the wingspan...... Now try and explain how come the cars are still able to drive in the inside lane (or at the very least why the authorities haven't closed that lane for safety reasons...... And also what city authority in the world is going to allow a pavement next to an obviously busy road to be almost toally blocked without making some safety precautions to protect the pedestrians?).
