That's exactly what it did at Waddington, straight up ..but, I was in the air at about 300 kph and pulled back the stick with full AB and it did the same thing at low speed.. I was just wondering what it's thrust to weight ration must me ..Very impressive ! Mizzy

Yes I saw one at Waddington a while back and my Dad (R.I.P.) couldn't believe the noise of the engines when it took off and just went vertical...Vert impressive indeed !! Mizzy

If this is a 'real' FM or based on real characteristics of the jet, it's a rocket and it out turns anything else. Plus yank the stick back and it goes vertical from low speed. Can this jet really do all this ? Very impressive if it can !! Mizzy P.S. Love the new cockpit btw, been waiting forever to see the Mig 29 with a PFM !

Very lovely and interesting air frame but not a worthy module in my opinion. The Mig21/23 yes indeed but not the mig19. It's almost like 'why not the mig 17' ? Not an iconic aircraft for me. If my opinion counts at all but surely the F104 or 105 ? but the mig 19 !! Anyway, just my doodling opinion. Mizzy

This package is not aimed at you or for the most part the DCS community. It appears to me to be an 'introduction' module for 'new' customers and or older plays with little time on their hands but can have a bit of fun. MAC is obviously not got you in mind for it's marketing pitch. No disrespect but it's obvious what the product is and what it's aims are. Mizzy

It's straight forward and totally obvious to me what MAC is all about as a product. I have read some absolutely idiotic posts recently especially ones on Youtube commenting on what is ED doing etc. This product is a DCS survey module and an upgrade to FC3 for people that don't want (or don't have the time) to spend months on how to start an engine up in a Mig21 OR it can be seem as a good introduction to DCS where new and old players with the said desires and/or restrictions can have some fun right from the start...what on Earth is difficult to understand ! They are ALL Professional Flight Models in MAC, that is stated quite clearly !! It states that you can also have the option to buy the aircraft individually. I have all the modules in MAC as FF and own FC3 so there may not be anything there for me to buy. One question I have, if you have all the 14 aircraft already, will the ones that are not in FC3 have a simplified free release to owners of the FF module ? Mizzy

The movie was absolutely awful, just my opinion. It's not important or anything and ok maybe I should not have used the word 'crap' but it was in my opinion ! Mizzy

Looks like if someone doesn't agree with you, you're a 'troll'. It's called an opinion just for the record get used to it. As for the movie, it was indeed what another post says it was, a romantic drama with nice pretty 80s tunes (which I also thought were over the top) and a few scenes featuring the F-14, F-5 and A-4 which were quite nice, again over the top. I am not going into any of the political overtones as it's as stated propaganda. And if you read the forum rules, it states clearly no politics !! Lastly "..no one hates Top Gun" what a laugh...read some other peoples post and the internet and get used to other people's opinion. And it's not 'Miz' it's Mizzy thank you !

The thing about DCS is that it's not designed to be 'finished', it's designed to evolve and so are the modules. Some I have to agree have taken forever to evolve like the 'Hawk' but they are on going projects and I am glad they don't say it's 'finished' Take for example the F-5, although it's not in beta, Belsimtek have still improved the product...that's kind of nice !! It is true, hardly anyone plays MP in DCS, I have never played MP and will be buying the map along with the Hornet. Then again I am not typical of DCS players as I don't use DCS as a combat game and never have. I just like military jets to fly really fast in !! Mizzy

Seems dedicated server and dynamic campaign is the most popular wish if you had the money to invest in DCS. Interesting Mizzy

Will we see survey modules again like FC3 for the casual simmer and especially 'The Century Series' Surely classic air frames are a market seller ;-) Mizzy
