Well there are other forms of pain, in VR i jumped to behind what i think were some bushes and it was my coffee table... pain. An now i´m more careful when doing my walkaround

Yes you´re missing the first page "This mod is currently ai only."

Auto Steer Point. Autopilot follows waypoints automatic without you change to the next waypoint.

As stated, in VR the FLOLS is unusable with too much glow/bloom (a problem not only from CV-59 but also Supercarrier module although ED reduced the glow a little). I think it will work better if the carriers FLOLS/IFLOLS use same method of PDL lights of KC-135 or taxiway lights of airbases without the bloom. Hope there´s a better way to approach this issue in the future. Besides that, outstanding work and thank you HB. Best regards, F-

Better Smoke V22 for DCS 2.9
fagulha replied to Taz1004's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
In 2D it´s working perfect but in VR the meatball have a giant glow, it has to do how DCS renders some lights. Months ago the Hornet was visible from 20nm due to the lights were very bright. I could try to take a picture in VR so you can understand what i´m trying to say. You can check it with the default Stennis too. You have here a previous post about the subject: -
Better Smoke V22 for DCS 2.9
fagulha replied to Taz1004's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Taz1004 first of all thank you for your work to the DCS community. Let me ask you, in VR the IFLOLS, Supercarrier as example (in CV-59 is unusable), look like a christmas ball too bright and difficult to use, i´d rather IFLOLS look like the PDL lights in KC-135, less dim. With your expertise could you tell me if it is possible to tune that in some sort? Thank you in advance, Best regards, F. -
In VR it´s unusable. It´s like a big christmas tree. Visible at +/-4nm from port side...

FCS BIT it's done usually in ice conditions/very low temperatures.

I advise you to use OVgme to install your mods without manually install them to core DCS folder. So, with a click you can enable/disable your mods whenever necessary.

They´re not shader mods but reduced textures of the cockpit and better readability for the cockpit if you wish. Yes i understand you, i spent hours adding chocks, holdback bars, crews, tractors, ammo. From my experience with (extreme) populated deck, if you add a lot of AI taking off/landing that will hurt your performance by a lot. You can have a lot of statics but sometimes adding some AI units with advanced waypoints will be a bigger performance hit. How you spawn on the rear of the deck? you mean in the elevator or near the roundown? I use statics carefully placed so i can spawn in elevators or other places than default ones, but i wish i can spawn near the roundown for example. Glad you sorted out for better performance

I never use empty decks too and of course it can tank your performance. I would like to have my deck with Tomcats but it´s one aircraft that hit my perfomance (i´m a Hornet guy also). I used to have a F-14 cockpit md that was performance friend, do you have it? makes a difference. I use this two: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3303917/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3304383/

Delete FXO and Metashaders2 folder, i was with less performance (a lot) but after deleting the shaders folder (as usually do after an update but not after today patch) everything back to normal to me. I have much better VR performance now with this update. Better frame timming, so, no visible stutters.

This mod was the one who works best for me. Crashing DCS too after today patch. Hope it can be fixed. Thank you.

+1. I´m all for this kind of small details.

I tottaly agree with you. It will be a great asset for DCS in my point of view.

If FCS reset won´t reset aileron trim my guess it´s a bug although i´m no experienced real Hornet pilot, so, it´s only my understanding. But i think it´s worth a try setting FLAPS to Full and then back to Auto to see if it resets aileron trim. EDIT: after research, FCS reset in flight won´t change anything, so disregard my comment about FCS reset.
