  1. Hi, Need your expertise. It´s possible to edit static object aircraft loadouts? tried for ages to understand if it is possible. If so, can you give me one example so then i can learn/work by myself please? Thank you. F.
  2. +1! I wish ED could add the option to the player aircraft in the carrier like "take off from ground" as you mentioned. It's a must, at least for me.
  3. +1 For ages i want to edit my statics loadout. Tried to edit a .lua file but with no joy.
  4. Just a tip: i usually set the CONT knob all the way up in the MFD´s for get yellow fonts. About the AMPCD you need to adjust the brightness/contrast/gain as stated but it´s a problem of the real aircraft, it´s hard to read the digits on the AMPCD with Map On.
  5. I think you need Flaming Cliffs to fly it. I don´t have and i only can use the VSN aircraft as AI. Hope it did help you in some way. Best regards. Be safe. F.
  6. And i think there´s a fix from one of the users (Rudel_chw) for the most recent DCS updates (looks some people get errors with one/some units). EDIT:
  7. For what i read there isn´t defined a maximum landing weight. Just take in consideration more runway length to stop, for example.
  8. Yes i know, carrier landing gear. But check videos of Hornets taxing and you see the rear gear suspension reacting the bumps and the plane moving.
  9. Probably you misunderstood me, or, i didn´t explain myself the best way. I wish that the gear suspension react to the bumps while taxing.
  10. Thank you. Those black/white sparkly dots are a bummer in VR. Going to get later the new version. Regards and keep up. F.
  11. Hi all, This feature has been added few patches ago. Does anyone which .lua file, and line, i can edit the movement speed please? I want to use WASD keys as now, for "walking" in VR, but with lower speed. Thank you. F.
  12. Hi, I would like to see the Hornet with Weight on Wheels (taxing for example) bouncing a little more like the SU-25, or the Viper, because at the moment in my opinion it looks like it´s "glued" to the floor/deck. I would like too see the rear suspensions work more due to bumps on the taxiway/deck. Maybe it´s a WIP par with FM improvements. What´s your thoughts about this? Thank you. F.
  13. I think it was on The Fighter Pilot Podcast with Vincent Aiello that a Super Hornet pilot explains that a Legacy Hornet with 2 ext tanks flies like the Super Hornet does and the main difference between the two was the engines. The con of the Legacy Hornet was/is underpowered. I´m glad what ED gave us and i know if it was a Super Hornet it will be at this same high level of detail. Of course the Legacy Hornet have a special place in my heart since my childhood.
  14. +1 It´s a real bummer on a +2 mission with AI wingman... usually i change the freq or lower the volume but i would like also to give wingman commands and it´s almost impossible with the comms bugged like this.
  15. MY GPU is always in 99% when flying DCS and i hope it stay always this way.
  16. What TGP MEM mode does? tried with ATFLIR with no joy. Thank you.
  17. Hi all, Will we ever see JSTARS in DCS? We already have JTAC units but i think JSTARS could add extra info (as example, probably an update to actual JTAC format). and what about your thoughts? Thank you, F.
  18. I created a Ovgme folder for the droplets.fx so i can enable/disable with a click. So, it won´t be overwritten every update.
  19. I use a Simshaker JetSeat when i fly inside some clouds i get turbulence and feel it. I only notice on first time i used the Jetseat though. I read sometime ago about wake turbulence can be cpu intensive but it's a must to me. Going to try with it off to see the difference on my rig. Best regards. F.
  20. +1 for adding pilot to the model.
  21. Well, my setting in graphics.lua and Nvidia Control Panel were limited to 145 fps by me but DCS keeps on 50/60 fps. So, i did a fresh install of nvidia drivers (erased options a did a refresh of my settings in NVCP) and things back to normal to me. But before that i checked my Throttle to Fixed (default is Auto) at 120 fps in SteamVR Video options (Per Application Settings and choose DCS).
  22. With last update went from 27 seconds from Win to DCS main menu to 47 seconds; and when exiting DCS to Windows it takes longer too than before. And i always have DCS folders as exception on Windows Defender.
  23. No more jittering here (Valve Index user). Just some fps problems in first 2 hours (i lost fps to half of what was used to be...) but after trial and error changing Nvida options, WIndows, Drivers clean up etc everything is back to normal (maybe just some hic ups from time to time but i also use heavy missions). Finally i can enjoy DCS in VR and clouds to it´s fullest. Thank you ED. Keep up in improving. Best regards, F.
