As far as i know you could get DME and bearing from X band only, Y band never gived me DME (i have the Hornet since day one).

As far i know lights on deck, as already stated, are forbidden (no taxi lights included, it will degrade the night vision of the human eye, or sensitivity, that´s why so less lights, or dim, aboard so the eyes can prepare to see at night). Lights on = break problems, or, signal pilot is ready for cat shot.

When you select to Takoff from CAT 1 to 4 it will show the correct position but when you select a Ramp start it positions the icon from CAT 1 even if you start from a elevator. As far i remember it was always like this. i rather have/wish a ramp positioning shown as in the AFB´s of course. And the center you mentioned it´s called The Six Pack it´s a ramp start, it´s correct. The pic show the spawn positions. Flight Deck overview Carrier.jfif

Got it! Glad it in the end worked ok.

Tested both F-16/F-18, night/day, ATFLIR, just fiddling with Brightness and contrast ( used MAN LVL too) as usually i do, and see no major issues. And AFAIK it´s independent in each MFD as in real airframes (VR user). But that´s me.

I have templates that took me days and months to improve, but it was worthwhile, now if i want to do any changes/start a new mission i just load the template. About the saving time, along the way i learned the deck positions and where/how to place statics and do it with fewer errors.

Still the same issue after months.

To be honest can´t recall having EGIW +1 year (Hornet guy here).

Feels great from the inside here, and looking awesome from the outside (pilot jumping in the seat with hands on the towel rackets like in real life). Not sure what is the problem from your side (i´m flying the Hornet).

I remember struggling with argument for unfolded wings, at the time i couldn´t make it work (as stated in my previous post) and since then i didn´t touch any files. Sorry i couldn´t help you further. In meantime, if you get it to work feedback will be appreciated.

Don´t have any problems placing ground crew neither placing AI aircrafts on deck. What may be sometimes problematic (like the issue i mentioned in previous post) is to get a balance between statics and AI taxi routes but when needed i go to modelviewer, load the carrier and the taxi routes to check where to place my static objects. I use photos and other resources to see where to place statics as in real life, etc. No big deal for me to be honest, but i´m used to do it and someone who is not used to work with the ME and the deck may find difficult, of course.

It all comes to imagination of each one of us. Logbook App is a good example, where i can see my stats and it have also a greenie board (shared with the app users) where i can see my landings stats and learn from it, so, something similar in the DCS core might be more useful than you think.

Fix for a problem that not exist yet: I´m sure there will be a option to reload/choose to a previous date or something of that sort

Neither do i, it took awhile to figure why AI didn´t take off. Little odd to be honest, the aisle is below/outside the deck and never thought that could be an issue.

Agreed. But, that may induce other problems... I use the Deck crew in the aisles in the Supercarrier and i found out that AI aircraft won´t take of from CAT 3 or 4, only after removing the deck crew from the aisle.

Just create the folders path and you can use it with OVgme.

Yes it work with the A-4 and T-45C.

Hello @Cobra847, As already stated the Forrestal is a piece of art, andI think already suggested but did you considered to create deck liveries? weathered/less weathered, usually i like to simulate the deck in the beginning of the deployment (clean) and during deployment (weathered). And some users already did some similar but i would like to see it from you. It´s a detail, and low priority, but i think it´s neat Merry Christmas and thank you for you outstanding work! F.
