  1. No prob, glad i could help in some way. About mods using core folder, you need to install OVgme to use these kind of mods (in that case the loogbook mod). This way you can enable/disable mods in a click when need testing without mods, or update, cleanup etc. download OVgme and follow instructions, any question please say so and i, or others, will try to help for sure. I leave some examples how i have the OVgme set up, you need to create a folder inside DCS savedgames named _OVGME Mods and then put all the mods that use core folder there. You can use OVgme also for "common" mods that don´t use core files but i only use it for mods that use core folder of DCS.
  2. You shouldn´t install any mods and liveries directly in Main/Core DCS folder, all mods/liveries/textures and scripts go to DCS Savedgames folder. My path: F:\Users\YOURUSERNAME HERE\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Forrestal\Forrestal Clear Deck This way you can choose the liverie of the Forrestal in the Mission Editor. (in your case it will be in drive C:\ as default but i changed mine) If the Liveries folder does not exist create like the path shown above. Mods go to Mods folder inside savedgames DCS folder (again, if not exist create Mods folder). You have some examples below how i have things installed. Hope it helps
  3. There are no mods for the Forrestal. The deck liverie for the Forrestal didn´t appeared at cleanup process probably because it´s saved in SavedGames folder and that´s why we save there mods, files, scripts, so they don´t be overwritten each update/restore/cleanup. When i encounter a problem the first thing i do it´s to uninstall/disable all of my mods and see if the problem persists, and if not, i can add mods one by one to find the culprit. So, try without any mods (i doubt the Forrestal´s texture do any harm because it doesn´t mess with core files) and see if the problem persists please.
  4. No prob. Glad i could help.
  5. It´s a great video for reviewing along the years, you learn always something that you missed. It´s a well known video in fighter pilot community. Glad you enjoy it. Keep up.
  6. Here, a mantra video that i keep visiting along the years: and Hope they can be useful.
  7. Doesn´t work the same way for the Viper. I have several Hornet cockpits that i use with savedgames folder, for the Viper i need to use OVGme to load my F-16 Cockpits.
  8. I use it in saved games folder, so i can choose the liverie in ME. Just create a folder like other liveries. Also, it´s described in the comments of the link.
  9. In this link you have other liveries projects (including the Hornet) from lee1hy. https://lee1hy.gumroad.com/p/final-ver-8th-fw-wolfpack-f-16c
  10. No prob. Glad i could help.

  12. From the user files and from the forum. Search in the liverie and mod section. I leave here a couple ones: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/de/files/3307484/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313436/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313036/ and this one below too: Hope you enjoy (there are a couple more around).
  13. Thank you so much for sharing JetCat! I use some F-18 Cockpits, and now another great one for my collection
  14. You already have the fix posted above but if you wish you can have the file OVgme ready so it applies to all your F-16 Liveries without need of liverie editing. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-1m82xvihUdP3XiLWjPIEW5tuDkj7U5O?usp=sharing
  15. I use a fix OVgme ready. I post here the link to my GDrive later at night when i arrive home, if you wish.
  16. De nada! (you´re welcome)
  17. Ah yes. I don´t use pre-made templates either because i like to use my configs on deck and for same reasons as you do too. Yes, that´s the only thing to do. I made templates for each map so i can use them as i wish. It´s lesser work than do it from scratch for everytime i want to change mission or map. My humble advice is to you build your 4 carrier templates, it´s worthy. Besides, generally i work on them when i dont´t want to fly because i´m tired or don´t have the time etc. After i create and use them i keep on workinh on them and save updated templates, so i can have a lot of options for future missions. I don´t see any issue from here, it´s my method.
  18. How so? i populate my decks as i wish then save as a Template and can use in any of my missions. So, i don´t need to populate the carrier all over again when creating different missions, that would be mental because i use a lot of statics. I do the same with AFB´s. You can create your templates...
  19. You have this deck textures, did you try them? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3319070/ Don´t you use templates for the carriers?
  20. I tried before arg 50 but probably the didn´t work because of the vaule i put (0.8)... It remove pilot even in flight or only static? because i think JUICE-AWG meant to not have the pilot in flight. Thank you for sharing/help.
  21. Don´t think so, no. I like to populate my carriers so i don´t mind at all that the deck vehicles are implemented by default on deck although i understand your point and wish.
  22. I tried to write arguments after viewing the in the model editor but that didn´t work, i don´t have the expertise to go further. I find/lear little things to myself, so basic stuff like canopy open, F-18C open cockpit and ladder in statics etc. Sorry i couldn´t help you further.
  23. I have one and tried mess with the .lua file to have no pilot but my knowledge it´s limited. The only thing i could change is, if you place it on ground as static it will have the canopy open instead closed (default). It´s useful to me to give a more "real" loog of populated AFB´s. Do you want it anymay? EDIT: You can open the .lua file and copy these lines and paste it last in to any of .lua fle liverie of your choice and the static will have the canopy open: custom_args = { [38] = 0.911, --canopy } PS: The liverie was not made by me, credit for Texac: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3311817/ Another one weathered, by berkkp: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3309111/
  24. Well there are other forms of pain, in VR i jumped to behind what i think were some bushes and it was my coffee table... pain. An now i´m more careful when doing my walkaround
