  1. This asset is used i.e. in the Padadise Lost campaign. When landing on one side of the pad, it will bounce the helicopter upwards and destroy it. Eventually the landing pad will be destroyed as well. Test mission is attached.test sandbag UH1.miz
  2. Actually scratch that. It aint fine, when you land on one side of the pad, it will destruct your helicopter. I've attached the test mission. Reporting this as a bug with the object test sandbag UH1.miz
  3. I made a simple test mission using the landing pad object I believe you used: M92_Sandbag_11 It works fine when isolated
  4. I've tried again, very gently touched the landing pad. But the same problem, the heli gets bounced into the air and the landing pad is destroyed on the second try. Flying in VR.   5. Mission 1 I tried landing on the pad in Berlin twice. The helipad took damage from an average landing, and bounced up the helicopter. On second try the landing pad exploded and killed the helicopter. Maybe a bug in the latest DCS version? null

  9. No, only 2D. For VR you need motion smoothing / reprojection
  10. they have both, classic algos and AI powered. But neither are "lossless"

  15. There are also some static assets which could allow you to place custom airfields. Or one could create a runway 3D asset, add some hill/slopes on the side so it can be paced in uneven terrain. Beacons can also be placed in the mission. Not sure a static asset would behave like an airfield, but if the carriers work, I dont see why not.
  16. Yes, it needs to be static though otherwise the game glitches out if its placed over the "new" ocean surface. Dynamic carriers work fine when placed over "old" oceans

  19. I've raised the sea level by 250 meters, which creates many new fjords and islands. It's not realistic, but it surely is a fun map to fly and re-discover. It's a small mod file you can install to try it out yourself. It would be great if though, if this became a mission setting rather than a mod, as it opens many new gameplay possibilities.
  20. Not sure how you manage to max out a 4090, I never managed it even with ultra settings and Q3 native resolution. And you seem to be running an Index VR?
