  1. NASA is full of them. Search their site.
  2. 1000% false. All of it. You have over 20 units of additional drag and a different engine that consumes more gas. And comparing it to the C that has a very simple engine model is not the way to prove your point here. Wikipedia isn't either. Comparison to something quantifiable in real life would be...which is where the numbers came from. Again, there are no issues there.
  3. You are free to find a -1 and consult that....but your math is completely wrong.
  4. C and E are two different airplanes for one. E and C are two completely different modules in terms of engine modeling for two. C and E are replicating two different engine types for three. The C is done by ED, you are more than welcome to do your own fuel flow test and curves for that one. Based on just those comparisons...as far as I need to go.
  5. Sigh. The lasing is the same. Again, it uses the same logic as the other jets do. Manually updating the until release is same/same. So predominantly used that CDES was removed later down the road lol Say can’t and doesn’t is false Almost, like….I tested all this in the dev cycle as part of the dev team. Lol. I’m intimately aware of what does and doesnt do. Lol.
  6. All they are doing is updating the current pos until release. And then aiming the laser at the target and dragging the bomb off its ballistic course. The exact same things that can be done with the E model in its current status. Again, they are all using the same tracking/laser logic. The one ‘bug’ that may or may not still exist is the ‘designate’ action cycling between ATRK and PTRK which is unintended behavior and is a bug. In which case, post drop retracking of the mover is still same/same as the other modules.
  7. Again, they have no mover logic in any of those jets. They do not have mover logic to pre-calculate a lead impact point. The pods in DCS do NONE of that The intent of CDES works in the same fashion where it constantly updates the designation. No different than updating manually repeatedly. Again, the two are not the same. ‘Newer’ pod in DCS means nothing. They are using the same logic.
  8. Yeah. They are. It has nothing to due with the pod. The designation deals with the airplane itself. You guys are misunderstanding what is a thing and what isn’t.
  9. They are independent in all suites. CDES was also removed in later suites.
  10. I do not know. Sorry. IIRC, sub 400 KCAS is a good start. And waiting till RPM is below about 30% is advised.
  11. What do you mean it can’t? Track and des are independent. The process is no different than what the others have either. The capability exists across the board, to include the F-15.
  12. There’s PTRK and CDES, or manual des. Nothing currently prohibits attacking movers. Not sure what more the intent here is. You want to lead, you do manually. That’s…how it was.
  13. Yes. Then two things you were doing incorrectly: Way too fast Attempting engine engagement at too high of an RPM. I dont know if windmilling is enabled yet, but you would still have been way too fast for that too. It doesn't sound like you have any bugs there. That all sounds like intended behavior.
  14. Need to post a track. Most likely you are not in the pos G realm. For the second part, if you engage too early you will shear the JFS mechanically and it will not start, hence the looping sound.
  15. Thank you! For the words and the build plans. I wondered if it was a bug or not. I’ll try messing around with it. Would be the first time I’ve seen an exported diplay have that issue so it was a weird one. Can bring it up with the devs and see if they might have any ideas on a solution.
  16. Finally had some time to finish and get it mounted temporarily for testing. Curious as to whether anyone else is having the same issue or perhaps knows what the cause might be. The main menu is fine, but all the submenus get garbled text and ghosting of previous menu text on the screen. Super weird and never seen the issue before. I might try flipping the exports around to different screens when I get some spare time.
  17. Don’t you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby. I’m just a guy, who may know a little about some things. People’s can choose to believe me or not, makes no difference to me.
  18. Hey! Thanks for that. The keypad buttons were def a bit of a fight for me. Even with the new ones, I had a heck of a time getting them to work around the display frame. Definitely a tight fit and tight tolerances. Hot glue to help dry fit is def your friend IMO. With that said, I finally won the battle, I believe. Had to do some audibles on the BBI board to get the cabling routed where I was okay with it. The lower frame made for a descent place to mount the monitor boards. If I had to do it all over again, I probably would have made some sort of table that fit over the screen with a bit of elevation on it to keep if off the back so I could have mounted everything onto it. I wasnt doing that all over again though. Haha. Bit of a rat’s nest with the wires, but I am tired of soldering so as long as it all holds, its staying as is. I just need to figure out how I’m going to mount it to my WW mounts. At this point, probably going to just do a piece of 1/4” ply across the back and bolt through the mounts. TBD.
  19. This.
  20. Slowly going, but going. Had some old dupont connector pigtails I tried to use, which were absolutely terrible at taking solder. In a pinch, turns out some old phone line cord is solid strand and actually works like a champ. The. i had to splice them together, hence the excessive cable. Got a crimper/female dupont connectors coming tomorrow, so that drama should end. I initially put the grid lines in, but think I’m leaving them out (or maybe just snap in) so I can use it to show a DED or whatever if ai fly other jets. Thanks for being kind enough to share the plans, have had a few snags a long the way with some things not printing perfectly (I suck as trying to make the keypad font work), but am amazed how tight of a fit everything is could have never pieced that all together myself.
  21. No, that is not interference.
  22. I'll be the first to ask a stupid question. Is that white mounting board for the keypad buttons something that was bought from somewhere, or is that part of the print files? I just ask it was obviously a different color and looks like you have more than one of them in the picture.

    Wheel Brake Bug ?

Different fuel weight, CG location, etc. its all dynamic. And you have a 40K airplane and two tires, if you think you are just going to stop in those cases well then…. Anti skid is inoperative below about 15 knots. Doesn't exist.
  24. Over-G damage most likely. The resolution is to not due things that cause aiframe damage.
