  1. The mod (haze removal) does not seem to work with the new update. Anyone able to get it working?
  2. Same here - right after the new patch update. Error code is 504.
  3. It goes in the regular bin folder. Not in the MT folder. Be sure you start the app first before you start DCS. The app will know which version you are starting up on its own .
  4. Thanks for the reply. No worries I’m sure you guys have a lot of other stuff to work on - but yeah it would be great if it was considered sometime in the future.
  5. Guys the current replay system is unique in that you can take over at any point to re-fly the mission. Great stuff, but it also creates a problem. If you Fast Forward your file can become corrupted and useless. This seems to happen about 100% of the time while replaying any long mission. Can you please update the system to give us a second choice to select a replay only option (in addition to the current replay system). Also can you please add “VCR” type controls to the replay only system so that you can rewind. I like to look at the replay to see how I can improve in future missions. Replay in the current state is pretty much useless for this type of self improvement. And yes I am familiar with TacView. Thank you for your consideration.
  6. Can you please add a haze reduction slider to the options menu. Thanks.

  7. Bump. This is still an issue. BTW this happens on any part of the ship where aircraft spawn. I could be wrong, but part of the problem may be the scale difference between the two aircraft. The F-14 seems to be in a different scale (larger).
  8. Bump. This is still an issue. The JBD on Cat 3 stayed up for hours on an MP mission last night. You can imagine how much fun it was to land . So my wingman and I lined up on cats 3 and 4 during our first mission. His ground crew ignored him so he moved over to cat 2. As soon as he departed for cat 2 the JBD came up and never went back down.
  9. I bought mine over the X-Mas break. Fast shipping to the US (CA). Easy install following the instructions on Delta’s web site. Great mod for the Warthog.
  10. Hey DF thanks for all of your hard work. My buddy and I have been flying your newest files (2.4.4.a) using multi threading and we are getting insane frame rates. I used to get 45 FPS in the pit (in VR) and on exterior views. Now I'm getting 90 FPS in the cockpit in VR. In 2D the average for inside and outside the pit is a 180 FPS for my rig.
  11. Lol. Yeah that was the good file. I launched a 120 at an enemy jet but an AI friendly’s missile hit the jet before mine. Not sure why the 120 locked on the drop tank.
  12. I’ll have to look at it again, but I think the first two were misses. Pretty sure the first hits were made by my wingman. On the last two I think I went to the seeker head in order to lock. I did fire two at the last target because I was not comfortable that the first shot got a good lock. Not at my computer ATM, but I’ll check later.
  13. Sure, Np. here are two track files. On one it works perfectly. On the other, not so well. Good Mav Chk.trk The other file Not So Good Mav Chk.trk
  14. Boresighting is not really working all that great. Sometimes you can do it on the ground and it works great. The next day you can follow the exact same procedure on the ground but the mavs will not handoff correctly. DCS says it is working, but the truth is - it only works sometimes. The boresight process has not worked correctly since 2.8 was released. The only thing that works most of the time are airborne flights. They are boresighted by the game and work really well.
  15. Thanks to all for the replies about the Parallax effect. More information than I ever wanted to know about Parallax effects - As a DCS user that is all well and good, but when I get in the pit, I just want the Mavericks to work. There should be a balance between realism and enjoyment of the sim IMHO. So this is a little different than the way they worked before the 2.8 update; but (bottom line) there is a magic number - at least in my brief experience with the new update. As others have stated above - the magic number is 1 nm. Anything less than 1 nm will likely not give you a good handoff. Also, locking onto a large object like a radar dome will yield better results IMO.
  16. Thanks Eddie. I’ll try your suggestion to the light source and check out the post on the parallax error. So does the distance to the object not matter - while on the ground? If the distance does matter - is there a minimum/maximum distance limit?
  17. Hi, So yes, the new Maverick Ground Boresight Procedure works. But, it is kind of a guessing game as to -- did you use an object far enough in the distance for the boresight to work. Not sure what the solution is but it is very frustrating to take off thinking your weapons are boresighted (only to find out they are not when you are over the target area). All because the object you used to boresight the weapon was not far enough. Any suggestions for a solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated.
  18. Just received mine in the mail today, Thanks Delta . This is such a huge improvement (100%) over the stock nipple. The install and calibration were easy thanks to the detailed instructions and helpful files found on your web site.
  19. Sure that would be great. If it is a simple edit to the MIZ file I can do that part. I'm just not sure where to look in the mission editor to stop the script. Thanks.
  20. Hi, Thanks for creating such great missions for DCS. I really enjoy the variety and the dynamic side of the missions. One question. Is there a way to stop the EWRS script from running? (in the single player mission - not on your server) I fly in VR and those pop up reports become a pain soon after you hop into the pit. Thanks again
  21. Agreed. The bore sighting is not working properly with the latest update. The handoff is nearly impossible (if you do the on the ground bore sighting procedure). It was not perfect before the update, but certainly working better before. However, if you hop into a plane that is already airborne (in a mission file). The bore sighting done by the A.I. is perfect, and the handoff works great with the new update.
  22. Np. Just follow the easternmost arm of Lake Mead (which is the Colorado River). Follow the Colorado river on an eastern trajectory and it will take you right to the Grand Canyon. It is just not done very well in this map - which I get (I’m sure it was not a priority when the map was made). But hopefully if the map is ever updated - they will make this part of the map better.
  23. The canyon is east of the NTTR. Outside of the NTTR boundary, but part of the DCS Nevada map
