  2. Why i just can't disable it from menu? I back tired home, just want to fly a little, but no, green screen at my night relaxing mission, and only solution is change entry in file which don't exist, need to download one, very funny...

  4. So why not use the solution I propose as a temporary solution for the F-16 and F-18? My proposal is much more realistic than the current damage model where pilot die from r73 hitting engine from down hemisphere. It will not change much, because after hitting the rocket we will not fly further, which is realistic, but we can say... "Start finding me boys!" and Eject. I will add that even with this entry you can die, but the rocket has to hit well.
  5. I don't argue with tahat, problem is general fuse logic in DCS lack of damage model, and lack of fragmentation damage. In DCS every missile going for direct hit, there are no proximity fuses, which in turn leads only to direct hits, and this leads to the death of the pilot, this is a small workaround what simulate proximity fuse damage model only for pilot, for now, maybye in future we will see proximity fuses, and damage model for newest planes.
  6. I do some research, because it irritated me when the pilot dies of literally everything, for twenty hits I had the opportunity to eject maybe once. I am addressing this topic more to the game developers as a temporary solution @BIGNEWY In F-16C.lua line 652 we need to set "critical_damage=" to 50. Now You got chance to eject safely Should works also in F-18, where pilot also dies often.
  7. @ScaleyDo You know maybye where i can find such parameters responsible for pilot damage model? In my case for F-16 (i want to eject somtimes, but the first thing that breaks down in ED damage model is a pilot, who just dies, even from R73 hitting engine)
  8. For me from patch to patch is getting worse and worse, from stable 60 over caucasus i got now stable 50 in Apache, i'm talking about flatscreen so this is global not only VR. There's nothing new graphical effects in the sim, and performance degrades.
  9. So why CPG dashboard top cover moving, pilot dashboard don't, only compass? Top left i suppose vent moving, right don't? If i'm in transverse flow or buffeting, everything moving, but it's whole screen jiggle, doable even in mi-8, not moving parts effect.

    There's a bug, alt hold works normal, but You don't see it on screen and IHADS.

  12. In the current AH-64 (BoS Like) damage model, I like that you can fall from a certain height, hit the ground at a certain speed and the crew will survive, which is realistic. Don't change it! For example, in the Mi-24, even a side tipper can kill.

  14. Where in the real world, on the map of which a part is available to us, US Army AH-64 was stationed? I mean more about Syria. I want to build a fairly realistic mission for myself. I mean more about location, I can build FARP myself.

It has nothing to do with the shadows, the helicopter works pretty well until we start working with additional Video sources like TADS, Digital NVGS, what gives us huge FPS drop, which persist after Video sources has been turned off. For me surprisingly even NV Googles causig FPS drop, but not immediately, but with time, even when turned off, the FPS drops - Like a chain of some invalid calculations that cause a leak of Vram.

  19. Lowering the details without the implemented new visible graphics solutions does not make sense in the long run, temporarily yes, until they fix it. Why is it worth reporting such drops and reporting observations? So that in two years we will not wake up again with ZTX 6090 graphics on medium details with 40 fps, crying for a new graphics engine. I've already flew two flights at my full set up in 60 fps. I just don't turn on any extra stuff like Picture in picture, I'm learning to be a pilot. and here another observation, even ordinary non-digital NVGs, can start the frame drop chain.
  20. From today's flight, CPU and GPU not maxed out, but FPS goes down, GPU Vram i got maxed everytime, in other modules too, but other modules runs in stable 60. With TracIR everything below 60 makes Military Sim Unplayable for me by by jerking, jumping of Headtracking (i bet every TrackIR user knows that pain)
  21. I fly over Nevada, it's not map problem, it's module related. Besides, I came to the conclusion that it is not only the fault of the additional images being turned on on the MFD and IHADSS, because sometimes, but not always with longer flights, the frames drop regardless of this. There is also one other thing, often after turning additional images on and off, the frames come back, not to the original level, but come back. But it takes them a long time, even up to several minutes. All mission conditions, weather and time, always the same.
  22. Got same problem, even created a topic, but devs cannot reproduce. Looks like Video memory leak. When i start misssion, i got stable 60 FPS, the longer i fly the less FPS i have and this is bad, considering it's an empty mission with no other vehicles.
