depends on the number of cores you have. If you are on a 8700K or above, its too soon to upgrade. Im not aiming for a sensible upgrade, its just for fun. :D

The Crosshair vi will take even a 16 core, my fear is the Power supply when all cores are overclocked

Will plonk one 3900x onto my existing motherboard. I might put up test results for comparison with my current 2700x.

Not saying it will be, but may mark the decline of personal computers if it catches on. You will be paying subscriptions and for sure games plagued by micro transactions. The Gaming companies have been salivating over this for years and if you look closely to the industry they will always shove subscriptions and micro transactions every time they can get away with.

12 cores on air? Dunno, 3900x may have the same TDP of an 2700x but they may scale thermally differently after overclocking due to the added cores. I wouldn't dare, or recommend anyone getting 3900X without at least an Aio. 3800x and below should be easy on air.

Yeah AMD pulled a leg on the leakers. 5ghz might still be possible for Single Thread, however according to my experience locking all cores to a slightly lower frequency than max single core clock does not impact results much.

Intel cant produce multi-core CPU's on 10nm yet. Yelds are really poor and large monolithic CPU's will have disabled cores due to defects.

I would never buy prebuilts in those conditions. A few days ago I had to uproot BING out of my fathers laptop and it kept coming back until I had erased all entries in registry, and deleted the files on the hard drive (by tracking the threads from the task manager to the source directory). Just like malware. I even joked I was fighting skynet.

Having 32GB of memory I can confirm everything is smooth here. RAM prices have really come down so, I guess its time to update your machines to keep up with the times. It's in the nature of this hobby, more so than most of the games the majority of people play.

I never watched 1 (one) episode of GOT. It seems I was on to something as people invested 8 years of their lives on that series and then it went last jedi mode on them. :D

the 12 core is rumored to clock faster, up to 5Ghz. That's the one Im aiming at. The CPU's will be released next moth so usually the rumors are very close to be true by now. Just a side note. Zen+ supports up to 4000Mhz, but I only managed 3533 with absolute high end and ultra expensive memory (the fastest SAMSUNG B die at the time) with most people hitting 3200Mhz right now. So you shouldn't expect 5000, You should expect the 3600 on Zen 2 as a conservative estimate.

A dark horse for this discussion: Japan's AAM-4B missile, the worlds first missile to incorporate an AESA seeker. Western manufacturers found this so interesting that MBDA already are in talks with Mitsubishi Electric to get some of that action. Little is known about the AAM-4B. It is likely to be a heavier and larger missile than the AIM-120C. That's about all I know as I couldn't find much data on it over the years.

Sorry, Wizzard but that is just not true. It's a tremendously capable aircraft right up there with the best, certainly not below the F-15 as it was designed primarily with the same role in mind and it's newer. Every evil you mentioned in the EF2000 program has plagued all of the other aircraft as well. If you observed the industry for long enough you would know that.
