Sniper pod for the Viper nowhere to be seen. Judging by the changelog only one person has worked on the Viper and Hornet for the past moth or so.

It would be great if ED's "SME's" could be active on the forums or public channels and actually explain and show why they think the DCS Viper behavior is right. Would love to see it. Simply saying "trust us" is far from scientific and is never considered as an argument or proof for any bug report. Considering the many FM reworks and improvements this only proves that the FM was far freom ideal on release and in the first years of EA. Seen several SME's, some more active and known ones like Mover, who said that the DCS Viper is pretty off in some regimes of the envelope. Just modeling the Ps0 line is far from enough for a flight model. SEP across the envelope as well as the correct moments across all axes are way more important.

Why don't you apply to one of HB's open positions? Otherwise nothing will change if you just keep posting your math.

Because you literally said the F-4 would not affect F-14 development. It's also not a complete module release but part of an EA roadmap you started 5 years ago.

Any chance you could add these pilot models to the Hind as an option? Ukrain Army Aviation use the same pilot equipment.

Regarding the "new" sounds - I can barely tell a difference other than the canopy open now producing a slightly louder engine tone internally (still not nearly enough) and there still being an overly windy exhaust sound mix in the aft as well as the old looped AB sounds. An improvement but not quite realistic still either.

DCS is literally dying. ED doesn't know what they are doing anymore. I thought the removal of "open beta" meant more testing and more stable updates but what we got was the opposite and fewer updates to begin with.

So to make this clear, can Onretech please contact Steam so customers can request a refund as Steam does not allow you to refund a year old product by default? This is borderline bait and switch especially after a year with no updates. Doesn't matter how well the map is done and what new was added. No one signed anything in the EULA that says another 3rd party can request to remove parts of a product.

Yeah no, the loops are closed for that when radar isnt scanning. The simple fact why this is the case here is because ED simply faked/scripted this stuff with an arbitrary rate, with 0 actual procesing or scanning logic (raycasting). It's basically all afaked effect to make you think the redar is seeing false contacts. It doesnt even take into account the antenna angle or the altitude.

I am aware but if you actually spent 2 minutes looking at them yourself you would know that those are esesntially the same. The SEP doesnt even have the correct back shape and extra angled UFP for that matter.

Correct. Also sometimes longer lock times, so no instant snap locks like in FC3. The only noticeable advantage the FF module will have is the co-op mode where you control the radar and all other sensors with your HMS. Radar interference should also be a thing in the 29 provided they model this.

Did a qucik test and the sound mixing is really bad still. In the aft section of the jet all you hear is wind noise from the exhaust even in ground idle. This is not the case in real life and you generally hear a very similar tone in the fron and in the back, with slightly moreintake specific pitch infront. Other modules get this right.

Were the missing sound files added with the July 22 update?

The C doesnt have a sustain phase, it's boost only. It's probably just mislabeled in the files. If it didnt have a boost phase it would not get up to speed at all.
