  1. Left Ctrl+Y twice. : Thumbup:
  2. Are you using the Thrustmaster A-10C HOTAS? I have seen guys miss the engine operate switch was in the wrong position for start.
  3. And the Ka-50 Blackshark...
  4. Has it been updated on the first page? If not will the first page link bring up the updated version? Thanks Devrim.
  5. Apache definitely get's my vote but with the dual seat modules inbound I'm not sure how the front seat optics controller would be correctly simulated in DCS.... (If at all) It requires you to hold it like a Playstation controller including buttons on the back. Sure the keyboard would work but...
  6. THAT is what will bring DCS to an untouchable level... We definitely need water effects like that on the canopy.
  7. Sure, I will check this when I get home tonight.
  8. But if the Artificial Horizon is incorrect how do you know you are level??? :D
  9. I do not have any LED flickering on my HOTAS. But I am also not set to a low brightness setting.
  10. I got to spend 3 hours in the AV/8B Harrier sim here at MCAS Yuma last week. It was the best sim experience I have ever had :D It had 10 displays that fully encompassed the room and was very cold and dark. The sound system was awesome and after 10 minutes I felt like I was really in the cockpit. They also have the JSF sims but I was not even allowed to look at them...
  11. Notice in this video of a real P-51 he turns on the fuel pump at the 5:13 mark. Notice the switch is Off in the up position and On in the down position, You can see the fuel pressure come up when the switch is moved to the down position (On) Then notice after takeoff in this video, he turns off the fuel pump at the 1:50 mark and verifies the fuel pressure is good. The fuel pump is then turned back on at the 6:14 mark before landing.
  12. They get cleaned but after 50+ years there will be scratches and stained areas of gime.
  13. Leave the glass alone. It's perfect for a 50's era russian jet. If we get a F-22, then clean the glass...
  14. Its not hard on the system. Its actually designed to do that. All Navy helos start that way. One point of starting that way is high winds. Its safer. Both engines could be started with the rotor brake on, then released to minimize the time at slow rotor rpm in gusty winds. That break holds at 3000 psi.. it's main function is for stopping the rotors quickly. The mains are so bulky that with just a slight breeze and some momentum during shut down those things will spin for 15 mins if you didn't have the rotor break.
  15. When the cockpit is dark and I use the flashlight (or pilot torch light) the light does not illuminate onto the ASP. I am not sure if this is a bug or if the ASP is actually built out of dark matter that absorbs light :D
  16. Last I checked the throttle command on the keyboard is the plus & minus key... Throttle steps up & down are page up and page down. Check and verify your key commands.
  17. It's a temporary pitch hold to compensate for the gun fire, not a trim change.
  18. The bar has been set really high for advanced flight sim models. Other third party developers have a lot to live up to now to match this level of DCS quality. Thank you Leatherneck! Now tell me what the new module will be ASAP!!! :D
  19. This needs to happen...
