Please ED can you confirm this bug? Radar air mode FPS stuttering also affect F-16 (happens the same. If you switch off F-16 radar, there is no stutters). -

I tested also in 2D, stutter occours. What I noticed is that if you put radar in AG mode, there is no stutters. Only in AA mode stuttering occours. -

I updated my first topic with 2 tracks showing stuttering issues with radar ON --> specially at low level flight. Look timeframe graph... tracks with radar ON --> STUTTER and radar OFF --> No Stutter (no framespikes). Can you reproduce it please? -
I think I found the roout cause of my stutters with latest OB. When F-18 or F-16 radar are ON I have those stuttering, specially at low level flight. I Started another topic:

I noticed a lot of frame spikes and stuttering with radar ON, in latest OB 2.8.6. With Radfar OFF, there is no stutters in OB 2.8.6 (like previous beta 2.8.5). MT Branch. Please ED don´t get more lower the VR performance and fix this issue, F-18 is unplayable now at specially low level flight (maybe due extra radar calculations???) Any other had the same experience? EDIT: Attached tracks with radar ON --> STUTTER and radar OFF --> No Stutter (no framespikes). Can you reproduce it please? F-18 RADAR ON - STUTTERS!!!.trk F-18 RADAR OFF - NO STUTTERS!!!.trk

I have noticed also many stutters with latest OB. Those stutters were not in previous OB. It seems to be that happens more with F-18 (Maybe new radar options???). With PICO4.

I noticed this bug since MT exists (tried with Valve Index and Pico 4). Specially at night, the is some zones that doesn´t have the same colours between eyes. This is very annoying in VR, in my case even causes a headache... let me show the screenshot with the bug. If you look carefully, you could notice that grey banding of clouds doesn´t match at L and R eyes. This doesn´t occours with ST executable. Edit: maybe this bug has been reported before?

It seems that with today´s patch this mod breaks some inputs like mouse viewing. Please Tax could you update it? thanks

SteamVr - Cause I use Valve Index. FPS are better even in ST. Its very bugged with current DCS MT version (L eye some objects not rendering, night anomalies also, night colour banding...).

I notice a delay response when displacing my head (not head turning, only moving to sides or front-back), that occours in MT version. But not in ST. OpenXR version. I´m using RJ45 tethered to my router, with good latencies (ethernet 1ms, total 42-43 ms). Any fix please?

I cannot enter with PICO4 in "Oculus" mode. I changed REG to REG ADD HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Khronos\OpenXR\1 /v ActiveRuntime /d "None" /f Then access to DCS MT to "C:\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR" I start VD... and run DCS MT, but when sim starts only shows 2D view (like thorught a MASK). Any guide or help?

I noticed sometimes when entering to PG at night, the light are quite dull. Attach 2 pictures about the same place, same time, same mission. You can easily notice the difference between "1_GOOD_NIGHT_Screen_230425_162440" and "2_BAD_BUGGED_NIGHT_Screen_230425_170510". Night lighting is degraded in the second one, with some green dull colours instead the bigther yellow ones. What it is internullesting: normally this not occours, it seems aleatory,... BUT you can "force" this issue if you flying a previos mission with the Su-25T and fire some targets with vikhirs and TV in any caucasus map mission (like Su-25T instant missions)... after that, the followings mission in PGhas the lighting issue at night. You have to restart the sim. No mods. Latest Open Beta version. Occours in 2D, VR, MT and ST. I Attacht also DCS LOG. My PC 4090, latest drivers, 32GB ram, SSD 2TB, 5900X. dcs.log

I have it too (Index), MT-VR specially awfull in the night please fix it in MT, even causes nausea to me during night flight. options.graphics.stereo_mode_use_shared_parser = is OFF -
I noticed in latest open beta version that disabling completely CIVIL TRAFFIC, removes a lot os stuttering (cpu bounding), the increase os smoothing is very noticeable (at least with my PC 4090 - 32GB 3600 mhz RAM - 5900x - Windows 10 - SSD 2TB. Specially in VR. Civil Traffic is not CPU demanding in ST so I consider it is a some sort of MT bug (like train stutters everytime, the stutter with terrain is very similar). In VR is specially noticeable seeing terrain stutters (or please) but not the cockpit view. Maybe this help to others with same problems. In addition, some other bug that ruins the experience in VR is nigh flights, source lights of cities are not well rendered in L eye. I hope that vulkan cleans those damm bugs in MT or VR.

Just to report not fixed in latest version. @ED What are exactly MT fixes implemented according with DCS change log??? please can you be specific? -
DLSS it can be only implemented in Vulkan or DX12. Not in DX11 !!! so Vulkan would come first than DLSS.

No solution for me. Its curious because with motion smoothing OFF I get sustained stable framerates (when Im not over a bigcitie... in these situation even with steam Index at 150% it stutters due the graphic card cannot sustain 80 or 90 fps...). If I put motion smoothing ON, I have many BIG stutters specially with many AI units. In ST motion smoothing is totally smooth.

Thanks. I have a problem with MT and Valve Index, it produces a los of stutters with motion smoothing ON. Seems very few people here with a Index, ... do you have fluid performance with MT and motion smoothin ON (40 or 45 fps limited)? Using OpenXR it could improve performance? Its quite curious beacuse I have smooth fluid in MT 2D, 120 fps on Gsync (4090 and 5900x). But in VR... single thread is fluid but MT-VR is a stuttering fest.

Yes. I can confirm, I have it too in the latest patch. Huge FPS performance hit in ST near supercarrier and on the deck. Reverted to previous beta 2.8.3.37854.1, FPS are normal, no performance hit. -
