You cant. You can try reduce sounds of DCS, for example in audio settings, world, use 75% fore example.

You can see right away that Bianka takes no prisoners .

No it wasn't, I'm sorry but I don't agree with it at all, your friend also probably doesn't remember the disappearing big box when another LOD was loading a few miles away and the target was not visiblefrom that time. It was terrible.

It can also be used in military operations .

Here the solution could be new versions of DLSS so nVidia mostly. DLSS drivers are released from time to time, it is worth installing the latest ones, usually there is a newer version of what we have in DCS. Current version is 3.7.2 https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/ where in DCS is 3.7. However, I don't use DLSS myself due to distortions, so it's hard for me to say whether there will be any improvement.

As I wrote, DLSS or DLAA is not and cannot be absolutely any benchmark and an accusation that there is a problem or a bug, DLSS itself is a change of settings for the worse (downscaling) in terms of resolution, so it absolutely cannot be a point of objection. This is a degradation of settings that give more FPS at the expense of quality, worse than "default". The comparison can only be made with the lack of AA or MSAA x2 or x4. In each of these cases, the current object vision system works very well. My settings: In the goggles I have upscaling with a total true resolution of approximately 3200x2832 pxt (according to OXR Toolkit, limited by FOV) per eye, which gives an image of approximately 6.4K in the goggles. It may be different at different resolutions. I did test now, Viggen vs MiG-19, result: I started to see the dot 14,6 nm 14,6 nm = 23.5 km even, so no, no any issue here. Direct resolution, picture from goggles: Of course, against the background of the ground, it is more difficult to see the target from this distance, but as you can see, it is really good now and there is no this tragic square like before 2.9.6, there is a small pixel that can still be seen (if you dont touch DLSS and DLAA).

He probably doesn't have any underwear ;). But yes, why isn't it there yet? In general, it would be useful to reconstruct current models and animations, some of them remember the times of Lock On . There was an announcement about this once and there's still nothing on the horizon.

Early Release of the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Manual
YoYo replied to Polychop Simulations's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
Btw. why its not sticky? -
Show your DCS graphics settings and VR tab from DCS too.

Right. It's also worth adding that if someone uses DLSS / DLAA, they will generally never be satisfied, especially in VR. If you want to have a sharp "dot", you should use MSAA or even without it, but with high resolution in the goggles. I use MSAA=2x myself and Im very satisfied with the current version in 2.9.6 finally.

Yes the same. Plus - now I see FC3 models, installed (11 units available) + Su33 installed before, installed, works from now Minus - after installation I see still "6" models (?) as available, so I have the same situation as you (maybe its an upgrade licences from Lock On > FC > FC3?).
-
If you "build" a FARP with all FARP units, no any issue so perhaps you missed something in the Mission Editor.
-
Correct. Moreover, there are even "about dot" statements from pilots in this topic, the contact should be visible at a distance of a few or a dozen or so miles. In the case of a small plane, such as the F-16, large ones are a different story, there may even be several dozen. Now you can even see the silhouette. I think it's very ok now. This requires even more testing, but I'm happy with what we have. Anyway, let's not make another topic here, they are about the same thing, so I don't know why another one. @BIGNEWY Maybe it's worth connect them?

No any issue, its great now. The 2.9.6. improved it. Also, you have partially fake and kind of middle system - just use off option if you like. Please keep those settings, its a lot better now, than before with this fake box dot.
-
Not solved, I have still Easy com ON when I launch DCS. Easy Com = off, ok, restart, now its ON again.
-
Finally, after Todays update. Its ok, Launcher sees my "old" FC3 modules again, however notice - 11 "somethings ..." : After installation, 6 "somethings" still:
-
"On" is the best and most wanted version. For me its perfect now (2.9.6.).I checked my previous missions and the default setting, i.e. ON, is very good now. I see that again I have Easy com turned on, so Todays patch didnt solved this? Have to check again why.

Actually, I don't know what section to put this in, but it probably concerns the functionality of objects (player modules) and effects. A request to introduce the friction effect for the skids (or better effect which will stop the movement if it exists) that helicopters are equipped with. This is not a new problem, but when starting the engine, a helicopter with skids always moves several dozen centimeters to the side, relative to the rotor axis. As if there were no friction effects. This applies to the situation - starting the helicopter in Cold and Dark mode. In reality, there is no shift to this extent. Examples include Huey, Kiowa, Gazelle. This is not the case with wheeled helicopters like Mi-8, Mi-24, AH-64. Maybe it's worth adding such an option in the SDK for developers? I don't know if a track is needed, but if so, I can record it (you can even do autostart).

It's strange that it still reports FC3 for the download in DCS Module Manager and new Launcher. Maybe the new patch will fix it, so it's not a question of the ED server for authorization?
-
After the last patch (2.9.6) it didn't happen to me anymore, so maybe it's fixed?

The picture doesnt work for me (Safari).
