  1. I have the impression that it is a bit faster now, recently I even had this window of only 2 seconds, so I don't know if something has improved, or if the time is just ok, and sometimes the time is quite long.
  2. Hard to tell me, didnt fly on Viggen from few weeks. Sry.
  3. Yes, solved, looks ok now (checke Easy com so I think the rest is ok too).
  4. After the last update ( DCS 2.9.7.59263 ) I noticed that this screen is present much longer than before: Near 0,4-1 minutes, before it was 5-10 seconds only so very short time. Did you notice it too?
  5. Still not solved, CH-47D, F as AI, every cargo cant be hooked. (my mistake)
  6. Since I'm modifying the map a bit too, I'm curious if the lack of most of the FOBs is due to the fact that it's EA and it will come with time, or if it really won't be in the final version. I noticed that the current map is from 2016-2017, some of the FOBs didn't exist then.
  7. It looks more like mods problem, so individual issue I suppose. I never noticed something like this and I fly VR only each day.
  8. Reported already .
  9. I fly VR only, honestly I don't understand what you mean, the model in VR looks very good, everything works, no complaints,
  10. Interesting! New patch Today!
  11. Still, cant wait !
  12. From FB: Welcome to another MiG-17F update. The team is working hard and continously with the current focus being on the MiG-17F systems and texturing. For this reason, today we would like to talk about one of those systems, the Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) Sirena 2 (SPO-2 / CPO-2) of the MiG-17F. The MiG-17F was equipped with an early RWR system that could only detect radar signals from the rear hemisphere. The RWR receiver is mounted on top of the tail fin assembly. Technical data: Range: 5 – 6000 meters Beamwidth: 50° vertical, 80° horizontal The RWR Sirena-2 gave the pilot an audio warning signal that the airplane was being painted by a radar (from the rear); the audio signals varied according to the distance of the radar impulses that hit the antenna (the distance of the radar behind the MiG-17F). Audio signals: 4 - 6 km: high-pitched, continuous sound 2 - 4 km: rising and falling howling tone 0 – 2 km: humming tone Control of the Sirena 2 is managed by the main circuit breaker on the right side wall, while the control panel is located on top of the main instrument panel, to the left of the ASP-4N gunsight. The control panel consists of a two-position power switch and two lights. The right light (red), indicated that the system was switched off. The left light (green), indicated that the system was on and operational. We also have some pictures for you of the latest texture work. As always, everything you see is Work In Progress. Enjoy, and thank you for your continuous support!
  13. My Chinook is currently in the hangar, I dodnt check it, so none of cargo isnt operational as slingloads? Btw. you should also remember about the weight of the cargo, sometimes you have to change it to a lighter one. According newslatter of current state of EA: but Im not sure what is working here or not.
  14. +1 from long time! I think longer even
  15. After Today's (DCS 2.9.7.59074) patch FC3 is showed again. Patch before was ok (DCS 2.9.7.58923).
  16. The optical effect, for the user, whether you do increased PD direct in DCS or outside upscaling is the same (optical effect, what the eye sees). Not long ago I had in my home a friend who has Varjo Aero, he was very surprised by the picture quality in QP and stated that the image was at least the same as his (his native resolution is higher than mine for sure, 5760x2720).
  17. You didnt know his resolution. His default resolution could be higher or lower than default (upscaling or downscaling) so its your imagination only about default settings (of course lower resolution improves visibility, but the same applies to 2D users as 2K and 4K monitor). Im using about 6,3K and also havent a problem to find a target. Practice makes perfect, also in reality, the target can usually be seen at a distance of 3-5 miles usually (in DCS the target is visible for me from 14 nm). I recommend that you read the document that I have attached as well.
  18. The same, no issue for me (about 6,4K in my resolution so quite very high). I think the last patch did nothing for VR, it concerns 2D: No any info here about VR. Fully agree.
  19. So we feel something like this : In summary for default view: - VR view for copilot and pilot isnt centered - face is too close to the windshield - maybe too low (but a little, I checked some images and maybe this one is ok): In DCS we have the option to keep the user position, you can use it until it is fixed: https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/Cockpit_Views .
  20. I think they had other plans and wanted to release at the same time on Steam, you can see there was movement: https://steamdb.info/app/223750/history/?changeid=24716978 Most likely there were some last minute changes and the files were sent to Steam too late (maybe). I assume the update will appear on Steam on Monday, a working day.
  21. It is worth creating an account on the ED website and download standalone version, and then connecting your Steam account to your ED account. You will have patches faster, independently of Steam, and all add-ons purchased on Steam will also be available. Also, more money will go to the manufacturer, not the middleman. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/steam/#3303126
  22. CH-47F trailer, looks like Marianas WWII version (new object):
  23. Yep, nice and thank you!
