  1. Already reported:
  2. SA-8 doesn't use infrared-guided missiles. This variant of F-16 also isn't equipped with optically-based missile launch warning systems like on the A-10 or AH-64.
  3. The detection and engagement rings for the Patriot don't account for the radar or launchers' limited coverage, and shows as 360° in-game.

  4. The AN/MPQ-53 radar set for the Patriot should have approximately ±55° of coverage from the center. The slice depicted in the editor is short on the radar's right side by 7°.
  5. CV CBL will happen automatically if CV RF is unavailable.
  6. It's bugged, you'll have to wait for a fix.
  7. The new radar is more correct, given the additional parameters. The previous radar calculations had hard-set limits, and there was no degradation of Pd with range and no additional factors were taken into account; contacts were either detected or not, 0% or 100%.
  8. Probability of detection chance has been added to the Hornet and Viper, so you'll get low Pd at high ranges, but not outside the realm of possibility. More info in this newsletter: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/newsletters/33d5516418549aa104164a508500a732/
  9. Already reported:
  10. - Your FCR's data filter is set to FTR+, ensure it's set to ALL. COMM switch inboard short to change the filter selection. - For the second, this is a reported issue with ground units appearing due to an issue in the moving target rejection (MTR) filter:
  11. He means a UHF frequency is present on a VHF radio, which should be impossible.
  12. The files are in CoreMods\tech\HeavyMetalCore. Appears the model files are encrypted though, not sure how to get a description.lua.
  13. Your A/G radar is in AGR (air-to-ground ranging) mode. Ensure the selected delivery mode is not CCIP or STRF.
  14. Gotcha, that explanation makes more sense.
  15. You have to go through WACQ to get to VACQ if the HMD is turned on, this is correct. If the HMD is off then VACQ is accessed just with SCS Aft in ACM mode. SCS Aft in ACM with the HMD turned on activates UPLOOK mode for the AIM-9X.
  16. If the HMD is on, VACQ is accessed with SCS Forward -> Left -> Aft.
  17. Apparently it's not correct for this model at the time represented:
  18. Sighting changes were outlined here:
  19. Did you salute?
  20. The TCN data block on the SA page will switch to bullseye-to-cursor data when the A/A WP is set and the TDC is assigned to SA.
  21. The option select pushbuttons are for displaying selectable options (the colon representing options that are selected). The scratchpad above the keypad is the designated area for data entry/display.
  22. It's the weight of the LAU-116 ejector pylons on stations 4 and 6, each weighs 65 lbs.
