  1. In the UK, when I lived there, it would had taken me a lot longer than that since my basic cost of life was considerably expensive. I used to spend more than 70% of my all yearly wages on housing and transportation, so calculating it based on the minimum wages alone is definitely short sighted.

  6. It is possible to set the option in the mission editor to restrict the kind of contacts that they will report, although it seems to be at least slightly bugged. First, you set this option for the waypoint, it's not automatically applied like every other setting, but you need to re-open this option so it applies, that means, you click add > set option > report contacts > select/deselect checkboxes. Then you close this dialog but the changes are not applied until you double click to open it again. Second, you set for example: Report contacts > Only air; Report engagements > Only air; Report kills > Only air; and as soon the your wingmen start their attack runs, they will reset back and start calling all the ground targets as if nothing was setup.

  8. I would like to ask whether it's possible to create a new AI plane and what are the files required. Specifically I'd like to create a copy of the existing F-4E and name it F-4G adding HARMs and ECM to its payload. I already tested it in the F-4E and it works fine; next logical step'd be to create a proper F-4G. What I would like to know is what files that needs to modified to make it work. Cheers
  9. I found the file f-111f.lua in ..\Scripts\Database\planes but couldn't find it anywhere in the Mission Editor? Am I missing something? Cheers

  14. F-16 Blk52, Task SEAD. No AGM-88 HARM available for user selection on pylons 7 and 4, although on some of the pre-existing default loadouts, these weapons are already there. :thumbup:
  15. Back in March, I could get 90fps stable on low doing 1v1 dogfights. Using the same settings, I can now only rarely reach 90fps. It's usually at 45fps now. It has been constantly dropping fps after every update.
  16. DCS AI can't handle it. You really need to simplify the AH behavior in order to at least make it work. Try giving it only a CAS command at a steerpoint close to the target and see if works for you, then you can go from there and try more complex things. In the end we start with the fact that there is not even NoE in DCS. Minimum altitude is 90ft AGL...
  17. I have to disagree. DCS is a full fidelity cockpit simulator game. DCS World is game meant to entertain, not meant to train, test or validate - and because of the lack of content, a very expensive sandbox game in that; and every aspect of it, except for the cockpit simulation, are very simplified: weather and atmospheric modeling, emissions physics (radar, ir, radio, jammer...), damage modeling & weapon effects (hitpoints *sic), atc and ground operation, AI, aerodynamics, mechanical components and material physics... all of which are of utmost importance in an actual combat simulation, but that are very low priority here, at least for the past 10 years.
