  1. Right hand side, where the exterior lighting switches are roughly. A rather big switch. And the light does not turn with nose wheel steering, as per the real plane.
  2. The outer ring shows your IAS up to 200 knots, then it shows the mach number. But you can still see your IAS in knots on the inner ring then.
  3. The Tomcat is big enough to take those along on its back for a flight ;)
  4. I felt like murdering him when struggling to hit the basket. "a little bit to the right, a bit to the left, a bit to the right, ...." I know, shut up!!!! :D
  5. I had it as well that it did not save in the F/A-18C. Read somewhere that it can sometimes be fixed by deleting the C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View\SnapViews.lua file. I have not tested the Hornet since then, but it sure did save for the Tomcat.
  6. You can change and save your default position: Right CRTL+SHIFT and Numpad / to move view back Right CRTL+SHIFT and Numpad * to move view forward Right CRTL+SHIFT and Numpad 8 to move view up Right CRTL+SHIFT and Numpad 2 to move view down RAlt +Num0 to save the postion
  7. I never use curves on any of the modules I own, I do use a 12cm extension though.
  8. Odd, the performance on my system is similar to all other modules I own. Steady around 45fps with pd 1.2 and most settings high incl shadows.
  9. The alternative could have been: "Talk to me, son of Goose." :D
  10. Can it be mounted on the stock base plate from the TM Warthog?
  11. I assume assafm25 means the off-center cursor where you have to jump in another A-4 first and then select role again to the one you wanna fly so the cursor is where it should be?
  12. Could someone tell me what the spoilers are used for, and under what conditions they should be used? Cheers! Mud
  13. Should it not be: FCS - RESET FLAPS - HALF NWS - OFF FCS BIT CHECK Take-Off Trim - PUSH (12deg)
  14. Count the rounds! :) All kidding aside, interesting question.
  15. I just did a flight where I ripple some Mk82 Snakeyes in pairs, and as soon as I release the bombs, my aircraft exploded. Is this a known bug? I did a search in this thread but could not find anything on it.
  16. I think it's more a limitation due to their limited access to the DCS code actually. So not really a bug.
  17. From the original post of this thread - bugs section: Aircraft cannot cold start from a carrier deck due to carrier movement and use of the huffer for startup. Known solution: Start all carrier missions hot
  18. I barely knew this aircraft, nor did I care much for it. Now after seeing this mod, and doing some research on the aircraft I have to say it has stolen my heart! What a great little aircraft!!! A very big thanks to the team behind it! Mud
  19. I strongly suggest using OVGME for doing your addons. You just have to set your folder structure up once per mod then, if it has not been done for you already. Clean and safe!
  20. Don't worry about it :) Be happy it was just that, and working as it should. Merry Christmas!
  21. For what it's worth: it's working fine for me in single player.
  22. Good question. I have seen quite a few discussions about the sound before, and oddly the raw sound files often sound great when you open them, but ingame they sound nothing like the raw ones. And I know that there are several parameters involved into sound recording like microphone quality and such. But I have been at enough air shows and with most video's on youtube a P-51 sounds like when I heard one in real life. Something appears to be off. So I end up using mods myself for the WW2 aircraft and UH-1. From the modules I own, only the FA-18 sounds great out of the box. This is of course also subjective.
  23. Hey arturojgt, I can't speak for the Harrier as I don't own that module, but in the A-10C you cannot see the laser beam. You can only see the IR beam with NVG's on. The TGP however can track a laser spot from another source. Br, Mud
  24. This is something that I would like to see changed in all modules. Or at least the WW2 aircraft. The trim increments are too big per step, so it's a darn pain in the bottom to do fine trimming.
  25. I always try to look at things from a positive side. The Tomcat is a very iconic plane, and Heatblur has a reputation of delivering on all aspects. Being eager ends up in being impatient. If anything, Heatblur, take this as something how much people are longing for what you are about to deliver. But by all means take your time. Enjoy the holidays and take time to rest also. It's not worth busting your nuts for those few who lack some basic discipline.
