  1. Thanks again, MadDog. I would not have figured out the radio and message command not being able to co-exist at the moment. I'm working the weekend, but I'll check it out tonight or during the next week as I'm off then anyway.
  2. Hey MadDog, thanks for the info. The mission was just a rough draft and I mainly wanted to know what was wrong with the moving zone. So thanks for the other info already :) Anyway, am I right to assume that you cannot trigger something from a moving zone apart from a player entering that zone? So it can't trigger something off an AI unit? Mud
  3. Just be patient. I'm sure they'll sort it out.
  4. Hey folks, Could one of you guru's have a look at this small test mission and let me know why the moving zone is not working/triggering? Happy flying! Mud UH-1 - Pick up..miz
  5. Yeah, that was my first thought also. But it doesn't appear to be working. I suppose it's all still WIP and hopefully it will be streamlined or at least well documented.
  6. Dingo Bob, Any idea of how / where to put a custom squadron and logo? Used to go in MissionEditor and Scripts in the past of my base install. Now it fails the manifest for './Scripts/Database/troops/USA.lua' Edit: Quite the hassle this has become to be honest. :(
  7. Well, seems this has to do with the fact that I have always placed my mods directly into the DCS installation folder, and not the saved games. It's rather unclear to me what type of mods go where in the saved games though. Like where do I put: Sound mods Cockpit texture mods Liveries Custom Squadron ... Getting too late now to investigate, so it'll be for tomorrow. Mud
  8. It appears it's no longer possible to have a custom squadron list. 2018-03-14 18:44:06.362 ERROR SECURITYCONTROL: Manifest size check failed for file './Scripts/Database/troops/USA.lua' The sim starts, but you cannot select a squadron in the logbook. And if I change anything in the shell_table.lua, the sim does not even start at all. With a similar error in the log.
  9. It's in the settings in DCS. In the special tab you can set parameters per aircraft.
  10. On that note I'd like the possibility to allow us to set trim sensitivity. Even in the P-51D I find it rather hard to trim properly using the 4-way hat switch because the increments are too big. A small touch in any direction results in a bit too much trim.
  11. No problems here. Similar performance to 388.71 for me.
  12. I was on 388.71 before, and my first impressions of 391.01 are positive. I think I gained some frames but I will have to test more to make sure.
  13. Yeah, I'd prefer them to be off as well. Same goes for the oxygen, but perhaps that has a reason for being on by default.
  14. Yeah, it's a lighting problem. The KA-50 cockpit will receive an overhaul. After a while, you get used to the current state though and it is fly-able, though not ideal of course.
  15. Nope, when starting in the air I was not able to reproduce it.
  16. Update: created another mission where I start of in the air at 15.000ft and I was not able to reproduce. I did notice the temperature was higher and there were no clouds set. When I have some time, I will recreate the weather conditions as in the mission where I actually take-off and see what happens.
  17. I was able to reproduce it now on my first try to do so. Same parameters. I included the track. Best regards, Mud Spitfire Mud.trk
  18. I think I flew in this state for about 15 minutes. I did not add power time to time. Bad wording on my part as it comes to the flames, I indeed assumed the flames being due to excess fuel. Just wondering what caused it specifically and if it's possible to restart the engine mid-air in a case like this.
  19. Hey folks, I was trying to do an endurance flight, but just before I arrived in France, something happened to my engine ... I think :) I climbed to 15.000ft, then once there went to -2 boost and 2000 rpm. Speed was around 200mph, fuel pump on, temperatures low. All of the sudden the engine stopped, with fire spewing out the exhausts. The prop was still wind-milling though. Cutting the fuel stopped the flames shouting out the exhaust. Now my questions: 1) What happened and why? 2) I tried to restart the engine, but failed. Is it possible at all to do so in this condition? Thanks in advance for the input! Mud
  20. I can't talk for the H model at the moment as I have been always using the D's lately. But I also manage to get a lock around 8-10 Nm with the warthog. Perhaps your SPI is set more accurately than theirs?
  21. I just noticed I posted in the old thread. I had made a new one as to not bump a thread this old, yet still valid. Anyway, it wasn't my intent :)
  22. Just wondering if this will ever be acknowledged or if I should report it in another way.
  23. I've taken out armor with the KA-50's cannon from farther than I could with the A-10. I just thought to myself: I'm probably just imagining things. Now I'm having doubts ....
  24. Left CTRL+PAUSE key Double-sniped. I'm getting old :D
