You can use the model viewer to generate a description.lua. You need to load the .edm then click on this button:

The panels lines and rivets are probably also on the normals and roughmets. It'd be easier to help you if you specified the aircraft you're working on

Unidentified Static Object...

Creating a virtual representation of a geographical area isn't a political statement in and of itself. I don't remember seeing any drama surrounding Abkhazia or South Ossetia on the Caucasus map or the Golan Heights on the Syria map. So why would the strait of Taiwan (for example) would be an issue?

The repair utility only works for your main install. In this case the issue is with the VPC mod in your saved games folder. Just remove it and you should be good to go

Can't you place an invisible FARP there to get rid of the trees?
