  2. If you search on Youtube, there are several training missions, with much better resolution.
  3. At least there is a difference in flare program. While HAWK is tracking, the Mi-24 drop 2 Flares, one each side, at a 1 sec rate. But when I launch a IR missile (Stinger) it should drop many more, much faster. And the Mi-24 fails to do so, when it's still tracked by Hawk system. Basicly ai pilot go blind, while doing evading maneuver.
  4. Looks better now, in 1.2.6. But I noticed the AI chopper, still fail to use proper ECM, if it's tracked by both Radar guided missile, and IR guided. ECM fail on chopper.trk
  5. Release should work, sure you do it right? Only problem with Maveric's are ,it's very hard to slew to lock on, if you only have a 4 button switch. And range is better in A-10C now, so it should improve on A too.
  6. It's not just the Maverics, if you try out CBU-97, in CCIP mode at relative low altitudes, you need to aim 3-800m behind (depending on speed/altitude), to make cluster ammo release in air right above targets. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1867848&postcount=13
  7. Hotspots are covered with satelites yes, but if a rouge country manage to move a launcher to a different spot, satelites and drones will probably not be available in time. And in case allies fail to shoot down missiles, mach 6 tecnology can be used to shoot down missiles before they reach USA.
  8. We are not talking about fps here (SSD), stutter is load time. Maybe it will be different on EDGE engine.
  9. Would be useful with a Arma2/3 AI script feature, so you can put up different behaviours if one or more get shot. Like going from Aware to Combat mode, faster run speed, at least next 5-10 min. And stance to crouch or prone. With a timeout, if it just was a random strafe from a nearby huey, so they cool down to normal.
  10. I don't quite understand, the AIM-7M was introduced in 1982, what era are the Russian missiles from, 1980's too, or? Will the new 'older' 3'rd party fighters also use this one, or will they make older versions? The reason I ask, is that during 1999, Eritrean-Ethiopian War there was fired 24 R-27's (not sure what type), between Su27's vs Mig29's, and only one hit with a proximity fuse. And the DCS ones seem to have much better PK.
  11. Looking at the crew in full view, I notice they still bump like they did while taxing, and the camera stablility function hardly keeps up, bending the windows. Is it safe to fly like that? Looks like one blade is stuck, and lifts moving forward, and neutral moving backwards, making it a bumpy ride.
  12. Just tried with buttons only, way too hard and you easy loose situation awareness, by focusing on maveric locking, in Push back mission.
  13. Edit; It's only the first press of slew buttons, and last time i checked they all moved to right. But I see ground lock is much faster now, and gives me better control. On my Warthog Throttle mini stick axes, I have now set the sensitivity down, and it's really hard to see it, and works fine. Deadzone 40 Saturation X 100 Saturation Y 25 Curvature 25 Those settings seem to work nice, the curvature at 25 seem to ignore the problem, and gives a little moving speed when needed.
  14. In FC2, I guess so. But they should fix this in FC3 in my opinion, because now it's harder than A-10C without the TGP too.
  15. I reported this years ago, and you don't see it easily on a track, because you also need to know what direction you move the mini stick, or witch slew button. ( It's starting out in a random direction) If I recall right, this was done to make it harder for A-10 users to use Maverics, because it was too easy to plink armor, and more popular back then, than Su-25. And probably one of the larger reasons, why FC2 never became what it could have been. (outside russia ofc) Her's how it used to be, not that great TV graphic, but easier to lock, look from 6 min and onwards.
  16. I do too, but here when I slaved to SPI the second time, it changed position to 15m behind the target. ( I see I didn't mention first time I slaved it)
  17. Looks like I got it wrong, I asumed it was because I changed back to TGP, but that was after I missed. Kind of strange what happened here. 0:50 I made the Point to SPI, TMS forward long, using laser too. 1:13 I locked the target at SPI, 6.4 Miles away (Edit it looks like it actually moved slightly too, did it lock onto the streetlight source, even if it was during day? I need to get some sleep :)) But when I 2:06 use China Hat Forwrd Long (Slave all to SPI), it moved away, to where Maveric hit ground, just because TGP was blocked, AFTER i shot? Could be I'm just expecting too much, irl a failed lock on Maveric would not migrate to TGP too. And ofc, at the end I was hit by a Sa-19 Radio Command/ Semi Active, and I was still on standby on ECM panel. But no missile warning at all? Here's the end from a different perspective. I would have provided the trackfile, to make things easier to look at, but it was 21MB large, and there's no way to shorten it.
  18. Thanks, didn't know about Handbrake. Now I probably should fast forward my track, and record to show what happened inside cockpit on RWR here too, because I got no warning.
  19. Best tool to see and learn your errors, is using Tackview, but some servers don't share data. But you can always edit a track to show everything, and then look at the whole track while making a new Tackview file, that reveals anything.( Only units, no triggers)
  20. What i meant, is it would be nice if it was possible to edit the tracks directly, to make them usable for sharing here on forum, without using the upload space limit in only one two times.
  21. Thats why I ask, irl they are independent, and switching page on one screen should not change anything. like for eksample if you change from TAD to DSMS, and back, you don't loose or reset anything there. I consider using 2 different screens a workaround, but will it stay like that for ever?
  22. In user\My Documents\Saved Games\DCS\Tracks\Multiplayer will it automaticly record a track. In singleplay you need to save it manually. ( In the Debrief menu)
  23. Should Maveric's after locking on target loose lock, if you go back to TGP display?
  24. I have a 20Mb track recorded, but the interesting things only happened in the end, is it, or will it be possible to just fastforward, and only copy the part I need. Would be very helpful to use to report bugs or anomalies. I know I always could use Fraps and record the last part, but thats really time consuming, and involves youtube too.:(
