Los my uit, ek gaan daie Sabre ry papa!

:surprise: Considering they (ED) did not have to do anything, then offered something, and have now even improved on that, I am astonished at the value they place in the people that back their platform. Well done!!! I am truly very grateful! Thank you
-
tsk tsk. I can look past that and other minor things very easily for arguably the best helicopter sim available to the public.
-
Belsimtek, FTW!!! No nonsense ED partners delivering the goods. Well Done!!!!

I have written off my $200 for all intents and purposes. It was not a total loss, as ED have picked up the project now so at least something will come of the initial kickstarter effort. Hey that was the deal and the risk. I'm not happy about it but it was a kickstarter project after all with no guarantees! I am still waiting for the illusive P51 keys, I have little hope in receiving anything else that was on the list. If ED can see a way to throw the backers a bone in appreciation in the future that'll be great. If not I just chalk it up to a learning experience.

Welcome to the loony bin. And fear not, if Wags from ED says something, it's gospel. We may not get all the bells and whistles, but we will get A1 quality FM with what is delivered.

I still don't have access to the Backer Forums

Well, looks like this is all fixed now, forum merge! Good -
I'd prefer to have the epic sim, and gladly forgo a t-shirt,map, and a book/s about a sim that failed.
-
I 2nd poll, ditch the extra's and concentrate on the software. $200 here

Dude, tbh the printed manuals would have been awesome. Its something that since (i dunno) Falcon days sort of dropped by the way side. I know ED did some FC manuals (payable extras as printing aint cheap) and they were cool, like easy A5 size for quick reference. But for me, all this other stuff is a useless waste of good money that could be used on the sim itself. Even the manuals. I will happily deal with pdf's and have an epic sim rather than a tshit/manual/map and a crappy sim. You guys know what to do, but thanks for asking. ;)

Thanks Wags! I have little doubt you will have nothing but the full support of this community!

Hehehe, all good bud  I have been very vocal in my disappointment of RRG following the Kickstarter for a number of reasons on these forums, and have a keen knack for sticking my foot in my mouth as well. :megalol:

We don't know why he is out, so lets not get the tar and feathers out either for the guy. Lets just be happy ED is taking over from where he left off.
-
The mother of all F -ups is to assume anything. Sit back relax and take solace in the fact that ED has clearly stated they will continue with the project. At the end of the day, that's all that is important really, even if it takes a bit longer.
-
I would not overreact, for instance, I want Belsimtek to have my babies, they are awesome, and I have FULL confidence in Wags and ED as a whole. We don't know the full story, and no matter what it is, it wont make a dent in my faith I have with ED. Sometimes things just don't go according to plan and I find it comforting that ED have taken the initiative.

Agree, and I am a culprit at that :music_whistling: I suggest a pole, in the backers forum if you like :) -

A lot of us have access, but I really see no point in locking people out of that forum now, in fact they should just merge the thing, simplify the whole DCS WW2 project into a single open forum. There were lots of promises made, with good intentions no doubt, but sadly a lot fell by the way side. Time for a fresh start I think. A single forum for the DCS WW2 stuff open for all is maybe not a bad idea. -
I made my happiness known in an earlier post. I would just like to add though that I hope that Luthier and his team or whoever he was working with are not somehow caught up in the unrest areas in Europe, I wish ill on no man. I am very glad that ED have picked up the reigns though.

Well holyshitballs, maybe we will get somewhere now.
-
Nice, beats waiting around for RRG to register a heartbeat at least ;)
-
Cant wait, take my money please.
-
Yup, will never back a project that involves these guys ever again, will just wait for final release and pay.

Need Help with glide slope and final / landing
Vlerkies replied to woodsglen's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
TT I only struggle with the 51 really. I seem to be chasing the nose to get it straight again with the rudder, rather than being able to anticipate where it is going to go before it happens to correct. Not many hours on it so just need some more practice I think but landings are pretty easy now. Key for me was approach speed more than anything else, around 100-110 over the threshold, then flare to 90 and she sits down very nicely.
