Need Help with glide slope and final / landing
Vlerkies replied to woodsglen's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
My blasted take-offs are more hazardous, landings fine. Trying to be smooth on the throttle, have 6 degree right rudder dialed in but the sh1t gets real squirrely. I just want to run up the runway and takeoff and still be in the same direction as the runway hehe. :megalol: -
Sounds like a legit strategy, just add my missing key to the list and then the planets will be in alignment

Simware 360 shop?? where else can i buy
Vlerkies replied to Vlerkies's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hi Lange I got a response now to all 3 previous emails I sent in one day today. Seems they are out of stock of that RHino Hotas till June. Glad Simware are still around as I always buy from them, just wasnt use to this non communication. They are usually very prompt. Maybe just a glitch on their side. -
Hi Over the years of flight simming whenever I wanted to get some good hardware i would import it to South Africa from Simware http://www.simw.com/ They were always super helpful and efficient. A friend asked me where he could get a RHino Hotas and I suggested them with great confidence. He mailed them to ask about stock and received no response after a week. I then mailed them with my account details asking the same questions, and also received zero response. Are they still alive and just not interested anymore. Where else could one buy a Rhino that will ship it to South Africa. Thanks

The interesting bit is going to be how long I can wait for the Dora backer award to arrive, still waiting for the P-51. ho hum. ;)

Urgh, yuk,,, had not flown the P51 for so long but fired it up today for kicks and also in anticipation of the Dora coming soon. Was shocked when I saw the gunsmoke, then did some searching and found this thread. Glad it will be looked into, till then I am gonna try psy's workaround and just delete the smoke. (edit: that worked and removed the smoke)

Hi Folks I have a screaming 10 year old that has been waiting since last year for a P-51. Can't take it anymore and wait for kickstarter rewards so I am just going to buy yet another one. So, I am going to purchase a P-51 key and want to give it to him. I understand he will have to have an account on DCS site for me to do that. I also have FC3 which I never play on my account and want to gift it to him as well. My question is twofold. FC3 is active on my account. Must I deactivate first or not? Do I unbind it first then bind it to his account or bind it to his account then unbind it from mine, does this sequence matter???? The p-51 key will be new, not activated so do I just bind it to his account and thats that? Sorry if this is obvious, I just don't want to mess it up.

Backer Rewards Section is Finally Here
Vlerkies replied to Charly_Owl's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
Perhaps a very silly question and I apologize in advance if indeed so. I selected the flyables and rewards right. They key/s I was supposed to get never happened at kickstater close and I gave up on them so in the rewards I selected yet another P-51 (already have one) I saved the changes, it says all accepted with naturally the 190 pending release date. Simple question, when do I get the P-51 key, or is there something else I have to do? Thank you. -
Thank you Merlin. I will also end up with extra's so in order to give them away I need to know what I need first to configure the selection appropriately. The world according to Gav does not apply across the board as Ami indicates in his case. The question is valid.

If I was to be cynical I would say the crux of that question by Azref was 'artfully' dodged! The man would make a good lawyer. To simplify as language gets lost on internet forums and give everyone the benefit of doubt; I am buying the 190 in DCS WORLD. I currently own a P51 D in DCS World 1.Do I need to also buy a 190 for DCS WW2 when WW2 is released or will the one i have in WORLD work. Same with the P51? Simply put, will the 51/190 flyables in World work in WW2 or are we required to by keys for both platforms. Thanks

Difference between flyables and rewards
Vlerkies replied to Diegeist's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
A simple few questions if I may. If I get a 190 in DCS World now, does that translate acroos to DCS WW2 when its released or do I have to get it there as well? Same for the P51D I already own in DCS World. Laslty, I have all but given up on getting (recovering) my P51 key/s that were or were not sent. So If I want to select another P51 in DCS World can I gift that key when (if) it arrives to someone else on a different account? Thank you. -
I would be really surprised if some partner, using the dcs engine from ED, had free reign to do as they please and in the process potentially drag ED's name through the mud without consequences. Me, I'm not expecting any game or anything, just what was promised on Kickstarter and if there is a problem I expect it needs to be resolved cordially. I can only deduce that they are saying stuff you Vlerkies, we have your $200, we sent you the key and are washing their hands of it. That maybe so, but I have a problem with not having the key, access to it, or being able to recover it myself via some sort of online platform/logging a ticket, anywhere. If this is how they handle problems now, just frikkin wait till they release something that is a game/sim/flightmodel of sort, you will have no chance.

They owe me a P-51 key, based on the kickstarter funding. Now, maybe they sent it maybe they didnt, Maybe it went into spam, maybe it didnt. The fact is I don't have it. Now this in itself is not a huge issue as I expect ( as a level headed member of society) it should be easily resolved. Its merely a matter of principle. The real issue: There is absolutely a complete disregard for anyone that has an issue with this, or anything else for that matter, bugger all communication All correspondence is being met with a brick wall or just being completely ignored. In contrast I have had issues before with DCS products in the past with keys. I have corresponded with them and a few days later the issues are resolved. = happy customer. RRG, just ignore you completely, for MONTHS. Judging by their other promises, I expect this is their strategy, and it sucks. If I was Wags I would have a word with these clowns as the whole RRG thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and that will affect my decision making process with other DCS partners in future, and as such DCS itself.
-
Still hoping I will get/recover mine from Kickstarter/Amazon pay in. They just don't bother answering any correspondence, so I can't really be bothered with them anymore.

Sad but true

I think this is a fair initiative for the die hard supporters of DCS. Often modules are bought on release at top dollar only to be discounted quite a bit, shortly after, in a summer sale or something. So thank you Wags.

NEVER AGAIN! It's that simple, no communication/pr for those that actually backed the project re rewards promised. Simple questions like er where is my key, go completely ignored, not even a yes we have noted your problem and will get back to you, F'ALL!!!! Useless, sorry to say but down right disgusting. :puke:

127 Days 5 hours since KS completion, no key, no response from RRG..

The website is in the same place as my backing reward, nowhere  Can't believe I got suckered again like CLoD initially.
