It seems it might be an issue with missions created before the update, if you place a hot start F-5E, the lights work fine as they are tied to the dial on the right hand panel for exterior nav lights. This needs to be turned up for the lights to work. I don't remember them being tied to that dial and if off not working, but least for now there is a work around while I check on how it should work. ok, update, according to the manual it is working as intended, the issue is older missions you will need to make sure the above knob is out of the off position.

Not sure I see your point, he means its not just cosmetic in that its more than just textures, there are many improvements based on the new model, many of those improvements were also passed to the old version freely as well. So the better comment would be "The internet remembers what it wants to remember".
  5. The only 'issue' I know about the radar is the ground clutter noise, and while it may be revisited in the future it was out of the scope for what was being done here. The Mavericks, even if a dev from 8+ years ago mentioned they would 'like' to do it would have required modelling a different version than we have now, I know some of you are ok with just slapping different weapons on, but I also remember the extra HARMs on the Viper, and even if it made sense, people were still upset by this. The intent of this 9.99 update was to improve the overall art and 3D modelling of the module. Being disappointed is fine, but keep I mind we did not promise or suggest it would be more than this. We cannot grant every wish though, and even if we deem something possible or needed, it needs to fit in with dev time.   10. This was a gameplay option added for mostly MP servers and players that do not own the Supercarrier or do not like talking to ATC, its a wave-off signal. If you are doing everything by the book, then you should not see it. Thanks!

  16. Do you own the original F-5E? If you do its 9.99, if you do not own the F-5E at all you must be the full version which now includes the improved model. Thanks.
  17. The model is completely new so it would not fit from the old model, even if we tried to line the pieces up. As far as radar and sounds, we never stated these would change, but rather the 3D model of the interior, exterior and pilot and included textures were what the remaster was about. Thanks.

  21. You need a vehicle nearby to rearm, I am assuming this is because someone just can't carry the missile over from a warehouse, but I will check. In my case, I used a ZIL-135. It does take time though, it was about 43 minutes from the first launch to the second launch. Hope that helps.

I am not sure this is a fair test, the group leader is targeted first, and the SAM continues to track and launch as you have it set to indestructible, if you remove this, the leader is shot down and then the SAM moves to the other units. In this case, the units are low and fast and the time to lock and the ability to track and shoot on close-in targets is limited. If you take control of the SAM (if you have CA) you will see that you can quickly jump to another target, and wait for the lock but most times the missiles are easily defeated. I was able to kill 2 with the limited missile load. Even on excellent the results are similar, but the AI was to shoot at two different aircraft with them set to destructable. I do agree with the units set to indestructible it looks weirder, but I still think this is because the SAM maintains its lock on the leader as it takes time to acquire a new target.
