For Cat 1, Put the nose on the center of the groove, roll slowly to the shoe, look out your right side for a reference point like the little hatch with the yellow caution marking and stop when your right shoulder is aligned with the aft end of it. This works every time for Cat 1. You can do the same thing with each Cat just find your reference point and train your eye. You will get so good at it you will find yourself doing this perfectly and faster every time.

Warthog is great for VR with its many buttons/switches. I would not buy in to much on the WH haters. Its a great setup. It is worth the price. Don’t let the cost be a deciding factor, just make the kid work for it. Mine has been trouble free for the 7-8 years Ive had it. If mine died today I would order another asap.

You will never go back to a monitor. Running a 65” Samsung here. I do VR also but I love the big screen too. It is nice having a life size cockpit. Plus, its pretty gorgeous on the eye candy.

An actual tank (and other ) internal “cockpit” views that works in VR would be a huge step forward. I could embrace that.

I have the Hornet and the Viper... but what I really want is the Carrier Module. I am enjoying both in EA and have no problem waiting for everything to be fleshed out. The constant cries of “I want it now” is not productive and gets nothing done any faster. But it appears that some believe differently. I have been flying flight sims for 20+ years and have never seen anything like this... Therefore, a rating of :doh::doh::doh: is warranted.

Interesting debate...but realistically, this is premature. DCS is not in a state where subscription would be appealing. Our DCS World will have to eventually make a turn where it all comes together. Maybe revisit this when ED gets its vision of DCS all fleshed out to where it needs to be... both to the satisfaction of their customers and themselves. So by all means, continue the debate for the next several years.

I am all in for the realism aspect and would not want that changed. Some will go all in, some will not. We choose what parts we want to dig into, which may not be everything that is available.

This waiting and wondering is painful... I need this module.

Odd, I hear weapons release. Not sure there would be a vibration for all though. Would like to hear from RL Combat Pilots on that.

I went to the theater Sunday to see the New Midway Movie in RPX. I had not even heard about it until last week. It was not overly advertised for some reason. Fitting for near Veterans Day. To my surprise, Pearl Harbor, Doolittle's Raid in addition to Midway was covered. The aerial Combat scenes seemed a little overdone but really made you feel like you would die any given second. Maybe that is the way it was. But overall, it was a really good movie for me and I enjoyed it with my popcorn-chocolate-coke Trailer: To all my fellow Veterans, Thank You for Your Service and Sacrifices. <S>
