No thanks...although seems a bit slow in movement...already have that info https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=melissa347&view=detail&mid=FB162E3E26261FE1A031FB162E3E26261FE1A031&FORM=VIRE&PC=APPL

Probably a test bed for newer map technology. Surely additional maps will come. Don’t understand why people second guess ED. Gnashing their teeth over a free map. Don’t like it, don’t use it. Now wouldn’t it be hypocritical if you do.

@dDaddy...hey... Mac was my IP and I flew his wing some when we were flying the Harrier and Hornet with VMFA 251... honestly great to fly with and learn from. That was some fun training and flying we did there Mac. <S> Ummm....Canyon Runs in vr

Or wait until you save more money.

Some can’t visualize the big picture...errr the box one can’t think out of has high walls. Seeing only in the near term is a tedious non-fruitful circular trap.
-
If the walking animation is as it is now, that would be a huge disappointment. So yeah...what is the plan?
-
A little early to make such assumptions IMHO. Supercarrier day one buy. And appreciate what Heatblur is doing with the Forrestal. I will use both and whichever suits the mission at the time.

Could we get some details for how Landing/Trap Scoring, greenie board etc. etc. will be handled? what will that look like for us and where will we see it? Knee Board or other?
-
Noticed the trap sheets do not always show which wire was snagged. Sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesn’t, but everything else is always there. This is in MP. Assumed it was a WIP issue. Are there plans to tweak this or does it matter since we have the Supercarrier coming “Soon”?

FPS bump by disabling GameDVR in Windows 10 via registry

The Windows Report says 1903. Would this have to be redone after all future Windows updates? -
What appears to be true is many posting here did not opt in this Early Access to help, but rather to save the $20%. And to get in on the excitement drummed up by their very own desires and hype by the community. At the purchase page it is clear what we are getting at the EA stage. From that very page: “What is DCS World Early Access? Early Access is an option for you to play this module in an early state, but it will be incomplete with bugs. The time a product remains in Early Access can vary widely based on the scope of the project, technical hurdles, and how complete the module is when it enters Early Access. Eagle Dynamics and all of our third parties strive to make this period as short as possible. An Early Access module can be played on both the Open Beta and Release versions of DCS World. Once the module exits Early Access, you will automatically have the Release version.” Complaints surrounding every Ea release is getting very old and tedious even though we are all entitled to our opinions regardless of whether they are justified or not. What we all wish for is not necessarily a valid real world expectation. A “mouthguard” can ease the pain of gnashing and grinding of teeth. Wow...2 months

If it is a “thing”, Like everything else, it will most likely depend on your System and Settings. At this point, Just saying it will be a slide show is an uneducated guess. Maybe devs have tested with various systems and can give us an idea of what to expect. I don’t think that’s asking too much.

But we know “Everything is Subject to Change” What difference does it make now? This is true of many things with some we have been given reasons, some we have not. Nothing it seems pleases the few or even the many. With from where we have come to todays state of the only decent Sim and its endeavors, it is easy to second guess the reasons for protracted development. On the other hand we could and should appreciate and enjoy what we have while looking forward to future features and enhancements that will improve our experience. Clouds anyone? Damage model? Vulcan? Maps? VR optimization? Etc. etc. I enjoy and appreciate what we have but at the same time wish for these things to come. But this is an evolving Sim. Which means it is ever evolving and some things will always be years out. Its just the way it is and will be a perpetual thing. As hard as it is, Patience is a virtue for our evolving DCS. This is easy to understand for an old time simmer like me who came from Atari B-52 Bomber and everything in between to here. I have been waiting over 20+ years for what ED has brought and is bringing us! Maybe we need a dedicated thread for impatience instead of cluttering every module sub forum with questions and opinions of when will I get my gizmos to make my world perfect.

Knowing that will happen...just don't look directly at them

Sounds tedious to have to use multiple commands for multiple hand signals. I would be happy if the pilot animations were at least on par with Heatblurs F14 pilot. Thats all I need but thats just me.
-
Since EDs pilot animations are very basic, Would like to see all of the F18 pilot animations (and why not all plane module pilots) at least on par with those of the F14 Pilot and Rio. Heatblur certainly did a nice job there.

Beautiful...Nice work GA... Bring it! Would be great if next week’s Newsletter announces “The Super Carrier Module Preorder is available at the ED Store!”

Flying MP with a buddy you are in communications with whether your own missions or another server is a-lot more fun than SP which I never fly. With and against human pilots is best.
