  1. yes. because with this fix I just turn off "fake afterburner" sound, that cause the bug. when the bug is fixed (hopefully soon), do not forget to remove this temporarily fix so that the "fake afterburner" sound will play again ;)
  2. Hello and Many thanks. Now I see where is the problem. And I redirect the bug to those who can fix it. While you can try temporarily fix:Sounds.zip extract it to c:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS
  3. It all looks as if some one sound is constantly restarting. Please help me find out which sound is being restarted. To do this, add the following lines to your C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS\Config\autoexec.cfg: sound.debug_level = 2 log.set_output('sound', 'SOUND', log.ALL + log.TRACE, log.TIME_LOCAL + log.MESSAGE) And attach to me your C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS\Logs\sound.log after the bug appears again. Thanks.
  4. Download Sounds.zip Extract it to c:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS folder Find c:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS\Sounds\sdef\WheelSlide.sdef and change the last line as you wish. I changed it for you: gain = 0.5 Default DCS value was: gain = 1.2. It is the volume of the noise of the tires. Thanks
  5. Ah yes, maybe that is the reason :) You have the problem with new P-47 planes. Please update
  6. Thanks for joining us! I'm sorry, but could you please provide a video of what you don't like? so far I can't figure out what the problem is. Perhaps it is in your version of DCS and you need a repair of the DCS version.
  7. please provide us with more info: logs and tracks. We still can't find the bug on our side
  8. Hello. Please, attach your log files.
  9. it is possible that the engine power and wind flow were so strong that the sound of the bullets was not noticeable. I guess this is not a bug. It could be like that.
  10. Fixed. Please wait in the next updates.
  11. Fixed. Please wait in the next updates.
  12. Definitely a bug, thanks for the report
  13. Definitely a bug, thanks for the report
  14. I can not reproduce neither in the 2.5.6 branch nor in the trunk version. Please check your sound mods or try to repair DCS. Thanks
  15. Oops, sorry, I was in my universe :) c0ff right, extract it to DCS-folder in your "Saved Games"
  16. To make the sound in the cockpit, if there is no way to be in it myself, as in the case of the F16, I watch not one or two videos, but all available video recordings on YouTube and not only. And based on my own experience of flying on other aircraft, and experience in sound development, I compose the overall picture of the sound. And we have some real pilots, who test our modules. And of course we always rely on their opinions. Of course, I can be wrong without having my own flying experience. But it's better for us to correct the sound not based on one or two videos, but from the words of a real pilot. Or from his comments about certain video recordings. Otherwise, we will only spoil the current sound, trying to adjust it to someone's subjective opinion. So, if you are a pilot of f16, please describe your feelings about these 2 videos and their comparison with DCS sound for example. And I will fix the sound in that way.
  17. :D To the general DCS folder. You should have the "Sounds" folder in there. And yes, you don't have these files in your DCS version
  18. Looks terrible. but I still can't reproduce :( let's check one assumption. You have one sound error in the log related to GearLockDown_In file. Extract this Sounds.zip to your "\LockOnExe" folder and try to reproduce the bug again please
  19. So, considering your wishes, the sound has been updated a bit. Here's a short video of how it sounds now: In the second half of the video for immortal supermen ;) - flying next to the plane in F2-view, switching on / off the afterburner. Many thanks for your help. I hope you will like it. Please be patient, I can't say for sure how quickly this update will get to you.
  20. This is a feature of a particular microphone. It cuts off the low frequencies dynamically so that wind noise does not block the entire recording.
  21. No :) You cannot fly at the speed of an airplane with your camera and rotate around the airplane after a few meters)) Although maybe some wingsuit-mans can ) But anyway, it should be too hard to hear or record something, but white noise. But you can get F3-view. From a certain distance and with doppler and with very quickly changed angle of view at short distances.
  22. Many thanks for your help!
  23. Please check it Did I understand you correctly and Is that exactly what was missing? thanks.
  24. Thanks for your message. Ok, I'll try to make different lengths. This is not a complete sample in DCS, but a loop file. I can customize its parameters. I think it depends on how quickly you do full throttle. That's how I did it. So if you move the throttle slowly - you will not get this sound. I'm not sure if I understood the request exactly, but I'll try to do it, I'll show it in the video. Thanks
  25. Many thanks for your help. We will check it
