1 hour of radar-off aerobatics interweaved with touch and go's and some straight flight and wide settled turns. Result: Can't replicate in the current build.

I suppose the flow is it make take some time for the devs to get on an issue and by that time a track may be out of date. I've seen tracks getting broken by just a single patch. There are several open topics pertaining to the issue. With some pointers from one of the testers I tried to re-create the bug and was unable to. I tried the same mission (instant action original Takeoff mission) and maneuvers I did the last time I saw that bug manifest - in Dec-Jan 2023/2024. As I said I couldn't replicate it. I followed the Antonov all the Tibilisi with no ADI drift. From the reading of some other threads I've got on my list to try: 1. Radar off right from the start. 2. High AoA horizontal maneuvers. 3. Vertical and scewed combat turns after takeoff. So, guys, let's squash it and get it on ED's queue finally! The time has come. Please try replicating the bug on your end with all mods disabled for the time of track recording.

There have been some significant fixes to the F-5E radar some 2 months ago. Check out the changelog.

One note on the Ascending promo video. The high energy LEX vortices are featured for the F-5E despite clearly being a work-in-progress subproject and I for one find it extremely positive! You guys should do it more often Especially that the Development Screenshots section on the main website can get a tad stale for months long stints.

Regarding the external model, it never bothered me, as in the quality of the mesh. It can look very well. See the attached screenshot by Bullet4MyEnemy What was lacking was a high resolution texture template. The current one has unreadable servicing labels and symbols. Odd. On the other hand even in the current build I'd say the aft metallic section is a masterpiece with the origknal artist not falling for the common temptation of overdoing the metallic effect. I hope the new template is going to be available during the first release week of the upgrade.

I wouldn't want to insult anyone but people asking such questions are either not DCS forum lurkers or they have some disassociation with reality going on. There's a third group oblivious to the fact that F-5A and T-38 are completely different aircraft, especially from an advanced FM development point of view.

As officially stated the external model is a completely new mesh. As for the cockpit - I sure hope any old mod is redundant
