Well I meant daytime lighting in general. IMO, the pre-PBR daytime looked better than post-PBR. But the dusk and dawn post-PBR blows pre-PBR out the water.

I wonder if daytime will look better also in 2.5.6.

Yet another good question unanswered. This also brings up a similar question of how are we(users) going to get to the rooms that are going to be implemented later in EA? Will we be able to walk to them in the SuperCarrier or we're pressing a button on the keyboard and viola we're in the briefing room?

Once you get directed to the correct department, everything is smooth sailing. Looks like I'll be getting a replacement Monday. I have to ship the old one to them, prepaid though.

As suspected, the new cable did not work. The displays still get static and flashes on & off when I move my head at certain angles. Surprisingly, HP called me yesterday to follow up to see if the cable fixed my issue, but it was too early. I hadn't gotten home to try it out yet. So hopefully they will call again today like they said they would and give me a replacement.

Quick question, what kind of cooling do you have for your system? Your temps seem pretty high especially your GPU. Mine hardly ever goes over 60, even running at 99% at certain times.

When the AI taxi in the dark, there's no illumination. However when they are ready for takeoff, the illumination shows. The bulbs seem to light up, but nothing is illuminated. When they're ready for takeoff I'm not sure if they switch to landing lights or not, but nothing illuminates when they taxi. See track attached. AI_Viper_Taxi_Light_Bug.trk

They've already mentioned there's a DCS sound file limitation and it's WIP. Supposedly Jester uses a lot of sound files.

Check it in the DCS settings.

Damnit. I was afraid of this. The cable should be here pretty soon so I could hurry up and test it and contact them for a replacement. That's a pretty cool solution you created. Are you selling them?

It's the same as mentioned before in this thread. Rain drops are visible, BUT the new rain drop effects are not. The kind that follows the contours of the canopy are not visible in VR. It does seem to be 2 layers to this. The small drops which has always been there. Then, the 2nd layer which has the new effects which is not visible.

Thanks for the reply BN. The rain works in VR, however, the new rain drop effects does not work in VR. So you're saying, you're getting the new rain drop effects in your Vive Cosmos? Are you able to provide a screenshot? So I talked to HP Support yesterday for my static and flashing issues, and they are going to send me a new cable. The cable they are sending is the USB one connected to the PC. However, I think the cable connected to the headset is the issue. I noticed these issues happen when I move my head or the cable. I told him I think it's the other cable, but he said if the one they send does not fix the issue, then they would have to send me a replacement. Has anyone else had this issue before?
