Could be both. I´d be happy if it is confirmed that the cloud covers can now have such fronts.

ED has posted some images a couple of days ago now, even though the cut-off of the cloud cover is visible (i. e. potentially something to nitpick). It´s still WIP and if they feel confident enough at this point to show something to us under these circumstances, I´m guessing it won´t be too long until we are going to see much more and much more sophisticated stuff. Thanks indeed for that and I´m looking forward to it.

Well, I´d personally agree that you shouldn´t be too hesitant to post your unfinished work just because someone might take it the wrong way, but that´s generally a valid reason (or an excuse, depending on your point of view). Quite frankly, I was rather shocked at some occasions by the way in which some people reacted to small bits of information that were provided to them.

That´s the sad truth. Every creative process is one of many successive iterations, at least in my own experience. If you don´t take that into account, often this is where the complaints start. Sadly, we live in a world where no open exchange between community and developers seems possible.

Sometimes, when they have only cannons left, they will do risky fly-overs with their attack runs, at least against low threat level targets... I've seen this in some of my test missions... You are right though, it's more like shot-gunning them out of the sky. Only had a few lucky hits at long ranges.

Yeah, makes sense. If not for those legal complications, it could perhaps be of some mutual benefit though. That´s just why I asked. From an amateur point of view it would of course be very tempting to get a glance at the inner workings of FMs. :)

Does the cloth cover in front of the HUD have it´s own AFM and react to g-forces?

If you are referring to the FC3 AC - IIRC it was said some time ago that those are limited by their SFM. More realistic steering characteristics and differential wheel brakes require AFM.

Please excuse me for being so blunt, but what kind of information is it exactly that you are looking at/for? I still remember those microfilm readers from the libraries at my university...

Maybe it´s because the actual employees responsible for the update are posting about this in the russian forum and an english announcement takes more time to be prepared and checked. I think it´s the same thing as with small bits of background info on current progress in 3D modelling, module development etc. NTTR this week would be nice though :)

My unit was delivered last saturday while I was having my morning coffee - perfect timing. :) Now, I run the G940 FFB stick with the X55 throttle and Saitek Pro rudder pedals. It took me a couple of days to set up wokring profiles for all the modules, but I´m very happy so far. The throttle is absolutely great. Considering how stuffed it is with rotaries, toggles, push buttons etc. the ergonomy is very good. Even the hats work very well despite their rather small size. Much better control than the G940 throttle... No more hysterosis BS.

I was expecting something like that. They did that more than once. Sorry for OT-ing around, I´ll stop now.

Sorry, but I have to ask. I checked all of yesterday´s updates and didn´t find any official comment on that. Not that I´m really surprised. I´m guessing EDGE will come with 1.3.0.

Last I saw there were some partials on facebook, too. Maybe 2 months ago.

Yeah, I´ve been wanting to get into the Su-25T more for some time, but after seeing the first WIP shots of the new pit I just can´t look at the old one anymore. Judging from the past it can´t be all that long anymore.
