  1. I just noticed something strange - while I haven´t had any actual issues with my X-55 Throttle unit despite this, I noticed today that a total of 4 (out of 7) screws are missing which are supposed to hold together the left throttle lever. Is this intentional (unlikely), did the units not go through any kind of quality check before they were shipped or what is up with that? Did anybody else notice this? The lever still holds together sufficiently well during normal operation and you would have to force it apart intentionally, but what the heck?!
  2. Nonono! Not at all - I love the skin. The bort number is 01 on the photos I have of the "Cobra" Su-27. Yours had 80 on the screenshot. :) That may of course have changed during the years, as my images show the "Cobra" 01 from 2002.
  3. Shouldn´t she look more like this? ;) (at least it does on the photos I have)
  4. Yup, that can happen now. :D :music_whistling: (Glad to see I´m not the only one)
  5. It´s clickable ;) (and I think there´s also a new skin)
  6. Ok, so it´s not really considered a part of the aircraft and probably activated by the new trigger function. Thanks for clarifying. I´ll have to try this out ASAP!
  7. I haven´t tried out sling loads yet, so I cant share any impressions, but wouldn´t there have to be some kind of extension or modification that allows for a differently calculated, dynamic COG which reacts to the attached load (as opposed to the "simpler" model for the UH-1H that we´ve had up until now)?
  8. I know it´s all a Beta version, but in contrast to the other modules it´s designated in the main menu as "UH-1H 1.2.8 Beta". I´d guess it´s probably because of the sling loads and the associated changes to the FM.
  9. Just some initial random stuff out of 1.2.8 Beta ;)
  10. Lol, the UH-1H is in Beta again?! :) Well, it´s all Beta, so...
  11. Very nice changelog! Now I´ll have to set up the controls properly for the Beta as well, something I´ve avoided until now...
  12. And to make the mouth watering experience comeplete: http://ru.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/3D_%D0%BC%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BB%D0%B8_%D0%B4%D0%BB%D1%8F_%D1%81%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%B8_DCS I think Silver_Dragon posted these somewhere in one of his threads before. Who knows if and when they might be implemented...
  13. Luckily the clock jumped forward between Saturday and Sunday, so it won´t be as long until then.
  14. Aye, I had a 580 up until last week, too, but never any problems with the rain in ARMA3. You are right, the 580 is still fast and I loved that card, but it cannot really cope with 8xQ/16xQ & TSSAA anymore (at least not in DX9-DCS) which considerably enhances the ability to spot other A/C in-game.
  15. Good to know. I quit during the second part of the ARMA-campaign because it kept crashing on me all the time. DCS generally works fine with 335.23, but in MP there still are moments where it drops down to 10-15 frames, and I recently upgraded to a 780Ti OC... DX11 is needed so badly for DCS...
  16. I just saw that you already posted the file names next to your list... :)
  17. Thanks for sharing then. Which .lua-file did you find it in? If ever, I usually just browse the DCS files without anything specific in mind. Last I remember about this is that AFM for other weapon categories was announced/WIP, but I never read anything about them actually being implemented (bit by bit).
  18. Very interesting - where did you find the quote? So this means other weapons than just A2A munitions will have an AFM implemented? This does not relate to 1.2.8, right?
  19. Not me. I don´t know any of them, but it was a group of guys training on the VA server.
  20. Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
  21. But Igor Tishin said there would be 20... Meh! :D (There has to be even more in the tube until 2nd Q 2015) :music_whistling:
  22. Is it possible that the model for predictions of "development speed/efficiency" should be based on average monthly temperatures, very much like a turbine engine?
